Fiamma 41
“I recommend the rice balls or the fiamma chicken, but everything I have eaten here has been good!.”
“Fiamma is a nice addition to Bell Blvd. Although there are many pizzerias, they have the added bonus of the brick oven which I love.”
“I first discovered this hidden little gem a few months back when I was driving back and forth Bell Blvd. trying to decide on what to eat.”

Fiamma 41 is an awesome place to eat some warm, fresh, non-greasy pizza at nighttime. Eating at the bar is nice, since the staff workers come around often and can check up on how I'm doing more easily that way. This eatery has a casual and trendy vibe, with its booth seating, blue lighting and NBA games playing on their TV screens.
I haven't gone wrong with ordering the first pizza listed on Fiamma 41's menu– I forget the exact name, but it has mozzarella cheese, basil, and tomato sauce on it. I could tell that the cheese was high quality and added so much taste to the pizza, and since there was spare amounts of it on each slice, it didn't overwhelm the dish with extra grease.
Each pizza is great for two people to share (with 9 slices in total). I finished one on my own once, though, which I think caught the attention of a staff worker who wasn't my host(ess) for the night, because they came over suddenly and asked how my pizza was. 🙂
We went here for a late dinner because we waited at Bourbon Street, just up the road for 35 minutes.
The place has a modern feel to it. It was not crowded. We sat at the bar. Camille and Louis were both taking care of us. They were both great.
We were in a rush as we waited too long at Bourbon Street and had to be out by 9pm because of time on the meter and we wanted to get home. They took our orders: fried calamari and linguine with clam sauce. Both were very good, just wish that we had a little bit larger serving as the fried calamari was $12 and the linguine was $17. I asked about checking in with Yelp and getting free dessert. They gave us the tiramisu. It was really good.
Frank the general manager came by to check on us. He was very nice. Overall a very good dining experience. And we got out just in time as the meter expired.
You know what? I really like this place.
I've visited this establishment a few times now and I really haven't ever left disappointed. The prices are pretty good for the amount of food you get and the menu has great options when you want an Italian food fix.
The free bread served with the seasoned dipping oil is DELISH and even better when it's fresh because it comes out warm, soft and amazing. For some reason, whenever I come here, I HAVE to have the chicken parm. Honestly, it's probably not the best I've ever had, but it always hits the spot. I get cheese and breading and pasta all in one dish, so I'm a happy camper. On my most recent visit, I tried the wings which were actually really good (color me surprised).
IMO, this place is always a solid choice for dinner mainly due to the food, price and location (right off of Bell Blvd and next to the parking lot if you can't find street parking).
PS: You get a free tiramisu with a purchase of an entree when you check-in on Yelp! I haven't redeemed mine yet, but I'm sure I will during one of my future visits.
I'm pretty stingy with 5 stars. However, this was close. I bet it gets 5 stars after next time. We had rice balls and calamari to share (group of 4) good enough portion to share. We also shared sangria. Good as well. My wife had a shrimp Caesar salad, one friend had a salad as well. 2 of us had the prosutto and spinach rollatini. Everything I tried was good. Service was good as well. Want to go back and try their pizza then I will update this.
Their pizza was mediocre…nothing memorable. I ordered the diavola pie with prosciutto hoping it would be spicy but it was kind of disappointing. We asked for the crushed red pepper flakes to add more flavor. I was pleased with the service and attentiveness of our waitress though!
Fiamma 41 is a decent place for happy hour drinks and food. The restaurant is spacious and open with an up-to-date decor. Our waitress was friendly and checked in on us frequently. Happy hour prices were awesome- $4 mixed drinks, $7 12-inch margarita pizza, and $6 rice balls. The two entrees split between two people were filling without leaving me feeling overstuffed. The food was mediocre. The wood-fired pizza is a nice toss-up from a regular pizza slice in the area, but the pizza was a little bland and less crunchy than I like. The rice balls were just okay.
We had dinner here the weekend of our wedding and I left very satisfied and looking forward to our next visit!
It was a very stormy night, so most of us were late to our reservation but the staff was so accomodating which I really appreciated.
They continued to bring over fresh bread and checked on us constantly. After about 45 minutes our entire party arrived and we were ready to eat!
We split a couple of orders of the rice balls and the spinach ones were so delicious. I loved them so much and couldn't help but eat my share and most of my husband's as well.
Everyone really enjoyed their food. Though, it didn't all arrive at the table at once and that is my biggest pet peeve ever at a restaurant. My husband's pizza arrived almost 20 minutes after my pasta. It was all over the place. My husband loved his pizza and the portion was huge. 2 people can certainly split a pie. I had the orchiette alla vodka and it was excellent. I love the pasta choice because it held the sauce so well! And I was very happy to have the fresh foccacia to use as a shovel to pour more sauce into my pie hole. It was excellent.
The cappuccinos were superb and the Nutella smores stuffed zeppole was just insane. It was more like a fried calzone and it was crazy good.
Service was good, portions were large, and prices were very reasonable. I think I see a date night in my future…
I was first introduced to Fiamma 41 through a Yelp Elite event in 2014, and it's become one of my local go-to restaurants when I need an Italian fix.
At the 2014 event, we were introduced to the two brothers and co-owners of Fiamma. Fiamma was their way of introducing and showcasing their mother's and grandmother's authentic Italian recipes to the world. I'm just surprised they're both not overweight – I know I would be – because the food is beyond delicious.
The restaurant is equipped with a bar, multiple TVs, and a brick oven in the middle of their open kitchen. The staff is very friendly, and on busy nights, you might find both brothers on the floor busing tables and talking to the patrons. Overall, the restaurant has a homey feel, and the prices on the menu reflect that as well. One can be well satisfied with just an entree for $15-20, but I do advise to come with more people so you can sample some appetizers and pizzas on top of your entree. (Believe me, there will be leftovers.)
