  1. Wow. Now (caveat, for a lunch place) but wow their chicken is delicious. I would totally recommend stopping by here for grabbing a bite to eat.
I had gotten the bueno bowl, added bacon (because bacon, right?).

The chicken was perfectly seasoned and so juicy. I really was expecting your standard midtown lunch fare, but this really surpassed everything I have had in the area.

  2. Great new addition to midtown east lunch and can see this place procuring some long lines in the future. Quality ingredients, clean, large open space. Prices are very fair with a good selection of items. And guacamole is even included in some of the bowls/salads without paying a crazy extra fee!

Will certainly keep it on the lunch rotation

  3. Super good chicken. Juicy and flavorful, even the breasts. The Brussels sprouts, roasted carrot, and the Mexican-style corn were the best sides I tried. The Rosemary potatoes were fine but I'd choose the other sides over them for sure. I'd also get a bowl over a 1/4 chicken next time. I like how it comes with rice/veggies/sauce/avocado.

  4. In search of a wholesome meal for a late lunch I went with a solid recommendation from all my coworkers who raved about Fields Good Chicken near Madison.

We were in the mood for hearty and wholesome yet tasty grub and we chose accordingly.  FGC is probably the best bang for your buck in the neighborhood considering taste, quality and quantity.  We decided on the famous bowls and my taste buds led me to the Bueno Bowl. Equipped with fresh guacamole,  Pico de gallo, Brown rice, fresh seasoned barbecue Chipotle glazed chicken breast and black beans. This bowl was packed to capacity with more than lunch but dinner as well. 5 hours later and I'm still full and satisfied. These are meals that leave your intestines satisfied for the remainder of the day.
My coworker ordered the Country Barbecue bowl. Granny smith apple Cole slaw, shredded barbecue chicken, black beans and brown rice. Very tasty.

The layout of FGC is country style. Oak and white decor. The employees are friendly and aim to please here. I will be back like Arnold Swartzenegger. I can imagine this is a #1 pit stop for lunch breaks. I'd advise visiting after 2 p.m.

  5. I tried this place for the first time last week and I liked it. While there was some confusion and a mixup with my food, they took care of it. The food itself was delicious and the lines were actually quick. This is a great alternative to salad options but it's still hearty and healthy.
