  1. I'm so glad this place is so close to me. It's a 24 hour spot with all of your bodega needs and more. Not only do they have a ton of snacks and drinks, they carry many different healthy food options, organic options, frozen foods (lots of ice cream options), cleaning products, beauty products and packaged goods. They even have a deli counter where they offer sandwiches and hot foods. The guys who work here are always very helpful and friendly no matter what time you come in.  The only downside? They don't carry bacon.

  2. I'll go with the 5th star because the sandwiches are always on POINT!! Place is always crowded during the morning rush with school kids and area workers.

  3. They have a crap ton of sandwiches. Get one with bacon.

  4. A great go to – they have EVERYTHING.  I have on several occasions thought that if they didn't stock it then it didn't exist.

  5. Great deli sandwiches! I found this placed using Yelp while walking through the area. I would have easily walked past if not for the great reviews. They have so much to choose from.  I went with The Godfather (#4).  It was fantastic and very well priced.  They also have a great selection of snacks, soft drinks, beer and many other items.  I'll be back!

  6. I know I got really fucked up the night before if there's a wrapper on the coffee table from a 5th Avenue Market sandwich in the morning. It's like getting street meat but your breath doesn't smell like lamb and shame when you wake up. They have a giant menu of every kind of deli sandwich you could possibly want hot or cold.

Don't ever come here with the munchies. You're askin for trouble.

  7. This place is the Moe's Tavern of bodegas! How so….it was the only place in the slope that never closed during Hurricane Irene. Even when your weed delivery guy was off-the-grid, 5th Ave Market was still slingin' hash!

First, it's the staff. My man at the register (whom I believe to be named 'bossman' and is seemingly always there) is the jovial kind and treats you the same regardless of what shape you're in…and believe me, he's seen you at your 4:37am Jersey Shore worst.

Way above average sandwiches in both options and quality, all freshly made-to-order before your eyes. And even when there's a line (yes the good word is out) you'll never wait more than a few mins.

But the things that keeps me coming back is the kick ass Ben N Jerry's selection which no other grocery store can seem to touch. I think they got a guy, who knows a dude, who once hitch-hiked to a Phish show in VT, who knows Ben. Or something like that. Point is, when you're craving "Americone Dream," chances are they'll have it.

Great organic produce & healthy options here too.

  8. The most reliable spot in the neighborhood 24/7.

A good Variety of Sandwiches, Salads, Breakfast items and all types of Cold Beverages. I visit this store everyday. They carry a variety of specialty and unique products that cant be found nowhere else.

A good spot when in the mood for a quick and inexpensive snack at 3am, or a good inexpensive Breakfast to go in the morning.

This store is like my personal refrigerator.

The entire staff at this store is cool.

    Big shout out to Moe.
