  1. Just when you think coffee can't possibly get much more expensive than Starbucks Fika comes around and you find that there's no price high enough to get you to stop buying coffee when you don't want to leave your building. Their coffee is good but the cups are so minuscule they're laughable.

  2. Whoever said the matcha latte was good here was dead wrong; waste of $5 for a medium cup.

I'm sure the coffee is decent here but the matcha latte wasn't.

  3. The cold brew coffee at Fika is phenomenal; this is what coffee is supposed to taste like!  I added a splash of almond milk and a dash of simple syrup, making it the best coffee I've had in a really long time. The only downside is the cost.  $4 is a bit steep for a medium, but it's worth it when you're in need of a treat or looking for an alternative to chain coffee shops. I'll be back!

  4. Even if you spend 10 times what others pay for their coffee, you're still making money hand over fist on each cup.   You can try and justify it all you want but you're still robbing your customers blind and laughing all the way to the bank.   Want to be transparent and informative?   Tell us what your margins are.

This place is a ripoff, plain and simple.

  5. If you have been ordering bitter, watery iced coffees from Starbucks, do yourself a favor and try a cold brew from FIKA. It's slightly more expensive than Starbucks but more reasonable than other high-end coffee brewers. It's sooooo super smooth and full-bodied. Barely even needs sugar. Just a splash of cream. I guzzled it faster than I've ever drank an iced coffee before. Can't wait to go back and try their other drinks and pastries.

  6. This place is right on my way to work, so finally I decided to pop in and see what it was all about. I'm glad I did, but at least for me, It's definitely a one-time try.

Overall, super clean and trendy design. There's indoor seating, but definitely the type of place to grab-and-go. For a weekday morning, it was of course pretty busy. Even though that was the case, the staff worked really fast. The baristas working at this location were awesome and even hilarious. Even though it was packed with hustling professionals, they still made it fun. Actually carried on basic conversation instead of the protocol "what would you like? alright you're order will be up soon. next." This made it a lot more welcoming, for sure.

I must say, this place is overpriced for just coffee. Their menu is pretty basic. They don't have anything super special or different on their menu, besides the matcha latte. The pastries looked good, but again, quite steep $ for the quantity. If you're not willing to spend nearly $5 on coffee, there's many other coffee spots near by for cheaper.

  7. great cappuccinos, even better pastries served up in a sleek, modern looking setting. my go-to place when I'm not feeling the hustle and bustle of the starbucks and DD on this block.

  8. My coworker wanted to get a bottled water, so we stopped in. When I saw all the gluten free goodies, she didn't have to try very hard to talk me in to getting something. The gluten free mudslide cookie was one of the best cookies I've had in my life. I will be going back to get another before I head home. Amazingly delicious!
