It's raining, it's pouring, the patties are sizzling. Such a gloomy day and what better than fresh, hot burgers right off the grill to brighten it up? Better yet, put whatever you want in your burger, free! My favorites are the mushrooms, jalapenos, carmelized onions, green peppers, ans of course can't be a burger without lettuce and tomato. Well, I guess just give me everything, HAHA.
Only thing was, my order of fries were soggy, boo!
3.5 stars. Just one of those days that I needed a real burger and some Cajun fries. I came in and ordered a little cheeseburger and a little hamburger, there was nothing little about them. Pretty heavy stuff. All the ingredients were fresh and were great in my burger. The Cajun fries on the other hand, were flavorful, but too soggy. Maybe the paper bag got the best of it, but still…I got my order to go, but service was great from the moment I placed my order until the moment I picked up my order. The cashier was fast about placing my order (despite me being annoying about what I like in my burger).
While I was waiting for my order, the guy working on putting together the burgers checked in on me to make sure I was taken care of. This is how service should be like, but it could very much go the other way, so I appreciate the effort. It was very clean inside, but felt like an icebox, but it works out well since it can get pretty hot with burgers on the grill. As I was leaving, the girl asked me if I needed a plastic bag and indeed I did, that oil will go right through that paper bag. This place is a great option to satisfy a burger craving.
Well it was really steamy out so I decided to come inside and have a nice burger. No fries yes I am trying to cut back on the fries but what I ordered was not really healthy either
What I ordered was 2 – Double Cheese Burgers with Lettuce, Pickle, Tomato, Ketchup,Grilled Onion and Mushroom.
Dam these were so big I got lockjaw trying to take a bite Shit!!! But they were so juicy and delicious gotta think with my brain next time and not my stomach.
Overall a really good burger in a neighborhood with very few choices. 🙂
I mean what's not to like about five guys? Burgers and fries done right. Big ass Cheeseburgers with bacon and whatever else you can Imagine putting on them. If you are craving a big messy bacon Cheeseburger go and get it. They also give you a ton of delicious French fries. These five guys restaurants aren't for the real health conscious folks out there but when you need that burger and fries fix it will definitely hit the spot at a very reasonable price. They are typically pretty quick and organized.
My friend and I have a rotation in the Bay Ridge/Dyker Heights border area and were wandering aimlessly looking for good food when we stumbled upon Five Guys! I've never had Five Guys before so I decided to give it a try! The menu is really simple, choose 1 of 8 burgers (or choose to have a hot dog or sandwich instead), choose the toppings you want (unlimited!), and add fries and drink if you'd like. The "little" in front of the burger just means there's one patty instead of 2 (which the original has).
I got the Little Bacon Burger with mayo, tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, and A1 steak sauce and a side of Regular Cajun style Fries. The burger was really good! I would definitely opt for this burger over a McDonald's Big Mac. The stand out had to be the A1 sauce which was delicious as usual. The jalapeno peppers were surprisingly not spicy at all. When I read the reviews about how huge the portion of the fries are, I was like "psh I could finish that!" since I'm a french fry addict. I stand corrected. The portion of the regular fries were huge! They give you a cup full of fries and then they add another portion inside the paper bag wtff?? I wasn't a huge fan of the cajun spice though because I think the server overdid it and put too much of the spice on the fries. I had to throw some out because they were just so salty and I my throat started hurting from the grease that liquefied the bag 🙁
Overall, I thought the service was pretty good, the burger was tasty, but the fries were not my cup of tea…surprising I know…It also didn't help that the tables were kinda oily and my burger + fries= ~$10. I probably won't be back but it was a good experience trying out a new chain restaurant!
Can't get enough of five guys! I love having this in the neighborhood. Their burgers + fries never fail me. I wish they offered delivery (even if my burger gets to me cold and soggy I don't mind). The burgers here are delish and never failed me. The cajun spice they use in their fries is also amazing as well and gives it the perfect kick! I need to come back and try their grilled cheese.
I love the fact that they don't nickle and dime you and give you free toppings + free peanuts! If this was any other chain, you can be sure you will be nickled and dimed. Definitely take advantage of their pre-order feature where you can call for pick up.
Please consider offering delivery services! And I'll be a very happy camper. Thanks Five Guys!
Their burgers are so good. I love the free toppings that you can choose from and there are a lot! The portions are huge so you have the option of a little burger which is still huge in my opinion. You can also munch on some peanuts while waiting for your food. Anyway 5 guys is the perfect place to get your fix of a fresh, juicy and greasy burger!
Hello All, my name is Jason and im addicted to Five Guys Burgers and Fries. I used to walk by this location, but never heard of or knew about the store and a former co-worker of mine told me to try it out…well I have, and have been unable to turn back.
I have put on some pounds over the last two years and directly attirbute that to my infatuation with this place, Lol. The burgers, cajun fries are great, grill cheese are all great. My only complaints are they typically take a long period of time to make a grill cheese and they do not offer milkshakes.
