Five Guys Burgers and Fries
“Five Guys is a great addition to the neighborhood, but I still think Burger Joint rules the roost.”
“I would say Shake Shack would still be the best but this chain place is a close second + no 2 hour lines. 🙂 No park though…”

This is your standard Five Guys–the same great tasting burger and fries as any other location. This one is pretty small–as if there was a weird gap between the stores next to it and someone got greedy and decided to throw a fast food place in-between. So don't bring your party of 10+ here (look at you, tourists!). As with any midtown place, it gets crowded at lunch, but the staff is on point and friendly and keeps the line moving and the burgers grilling. You can order ahead online and kinda cut the waiting process down. It's good to have a better burger option in the area.
Friendly service. The wait was oddly long, since we ordered 2 veggie sandwiches and fries. People who ordered hamburgers far later than us got served before us.
Consistent. Reasonably priced. Delicious fries.
Fast service. Great flat top grill burger and fries. Fast service and clean restaurant. Will definitely be back.
Five Guys is Five Guys no matter where you have it.
I was wandering around with the intention of going to Burger Joint at Le Parker Meridien, but apparently it was a Valentine's Day hotspot because the line in the lobby was insane. I saw there was a five guys nearby so settled on that as I hadn't had it in ages. No line, service was quick and the burger hit the spot. I'm glad they have the little size fry now, it's pretty much sufficient for any normal human being, anything bigger will feed a small to large army.
I'm still more partial to shake shack for my calorie bombs, but sometimes those fries call your name.
Overall, a clean and efficient outpost.
Mediocre burgers. I am partial to the juicy goodness that is Shake Shack. Five guys burgers doesn't even compare. The bun is flat and flavorless, like the cheapo store bought ones. The burger itself could have been made in any deli or bodega.
The standout, however, are the fries. Generously cut and salted, they beat Shake Shack fries by a mile.
Will probably not come back as there are too many options in the city to settle for a mediocre burger.
3.5. Considered a round down for the line assembly peeps not putting bacon on my bacon cheeseburger….then simply gave thanks for the loss of the calories I didn't need anyway…and because the burger ain't done did suffered nothing from the lack of oink oink.
Very solid, machine-like staff (said in the best possible way). Place kept clean during mad rush hours. Same excellent product as you'd expect from Five Guys. And not bad turn around time for the order.
The wait for our food wasn't that long, but the wait to order was quite annoying because they just seemed disorganized. I'm guessing they were switching shifts, but were unsure who was going to be on the register? Anyways….
Must get 5 Guys Cajun Fries!!! and also I found out that you can go bun-less and have a lettuce wrap instead! Delicious but messy.
Very, very average.
