Five Guys Burgers and Fries

“It's great to hear them converse about how they compare to Wendy's and Shake Shack, and how they make a better product.”

“The atmosphere here is really cool too, they had loud rock and roll music playing which was just perfect for a burger joint, really sets the mood.”

  1. Came here cuz my gf was craving a burger. I've eaten Five Guys so many times, I've gotten tired of them. And to be honest, after discovering other amazing burger joints in the city, I no longer care for Five Guys much. Though, as a fast option, when you just want something good, on the go, Five Guys is a good option.

This location had plentiful seating, though the floors could use cleaning. Cashier service was friendly and prompt.

  2. I've been to this location a handful of times. The service is pretty good. The cashier is typically very friendly and the food comes out relatively fast, depending on how busy it is. However there are some issues I've seen frequently here and on separate occasions. First of all there is always something wrong with the fountain drink station. It is usually that the syrup for the drink runs out and you are left with just water, or there is no water and all you get is the drink syrup. Another issue are the homeless bums. I know that this place is near Penn station but please, someone from the staff needs to keep the bums out of this place. I feel bad for them but they are always bugging me for change when I'm trying to eat. Or they try to be all sneaky and bring in their week old, crusty Five Guys cup and try to fill it up for a free drank. One time I even saw a bum try to fill up a whole damn 2 liter bottle. wtf!?? The worst part is, the staff here don't even give a sh*t. C'mon people, I'm trying to eat my heart attack burger and cajun fries in peace. Dayyumm.

  3. Perfectly adequate Five Guys.  The service is about average, nothing spectacular.  The food is made to order so it's always fresh (like any other Five Guys).  The bathrooms are moderately clean (as is the dining room).  If you enjoy Five Guys you probably won't be disappointed to eat here.  (Just have patience for the slow service).

  4. Great juicy burgers done just right. You can't ever go wrong with Five guys. Although this location messed up my order and forgot to add my bacon which was annoying. I was able to over look that because of how good my burger was.I will say it is very conveniently located next to Loewe's Theater, so that was a plus. It is definitely more expensive than what I am used to paying on Long Island but that's all because of location.

  5. Stopped by to check out their veggie sandwich and fries, and to my surprise the sandwich was very flavorful and filling too.  I noticed there was a bucket of shelled peanuts and decided to get a bagful and boy that was a yummy snack to gulf down on a day when I didn't have a snack in my bag.

I'll definitely go back, just for the free peanuts lol.

  6. I come to this Five guys when I am in the area.  It is pretty consistent with most Five Guys locations – you know, burgers with piles of fries.  I get the little cheeseburger and a little order of fries.

The upside for this particular location is that it is quite large and is close to Penn Station, but just far away enough from the crowds.

  7. Of course it's delicious, but you're not going to feel great about yourself afterwards.  Cajun fries are the best around, burgers can be found better elsewhere.  Good place for a quick, nasty lunch and some yummy peanuts.

  8. When you're in the mood for something meaty and greasy after a movie across the street, here is the place to go. The "little" fries order is not so little. Very good value. The little cheeseburger with every topping very tasty. I would have rated five guys with five stars if the grease didn't end up drenching the bun every time.

    Clean place.
