  1. Been here w few times. This is a nice buffet. Food is very fresh and tasty. It's so easy to become full from one plate alone. The workers are condescending though. Not a fan of their service. However, the food is what I'm most concerned about. One of the best all-you-can-eat's I've been to in a while.

  2. This place has not been open very long, but somehow manages to pack out half the parking lot of a strip mall. Maybe because they send out a ton of coupons every week in the Pennysaver… It looks very nice and new inside. The food and clientele however, is another issue.

There is always an extremely rowdy few groups/families, rude/obnoxious, lurking nearby and waiting for certain items (like crab legs) to be refilled, and then piling their plates as high as they can. Yeah, I get it, they're expensive and this is a buffet. But wow, really? You can get up more than once.

Most of the food items here have little taste, even if they're slathered in sauce. A lot of the seafood entrees look pretty questionable. My daughter tried something from the hibatchi and was not happy. The chocolate fountain looks like a bacterial infection waiting to happen.

I will not bother coming back here again.

  3. I really really liked it here! not quite 5 stars, but a good solid 4. Better than most buffets, good tasty sushi selections, fresh salad bar items.  I'd return, it seems to have plenty to make everyone happy. A nice surprise is the hibachi section as well as the buffet.  That's where you pick your own raw ingredients and they grill it up to order.  The place is huge, plenty if seating and even have party rooms.  I was there with my bowling league for awards night and we had such fun!   This is definitely a place I'd return with my family.

  4. A co-worker and I were hungry so she suggested going to Flaming Grill Buffet for there to go platter. It's a mix of Chinese and American food, two of my favorites combinations! So we went to Baldwin and I knew the area, I lived around there for about a year. But this place was new, maybe just a year under its belt. Its nice to see them building up the area. When we walked in my co-worker asked for her meal to go and they gave her a container for her food, I did the same. The prices were great also and they let you make your own plate, another plus. I noticed the staff was always replenishing the trays and they worked fast. They looked like they know what they are doing. Also they cook some of the food in plain sight. I went in for the coconut shrimp and the chicken. I was a pig and sampled some of the food, I was impressed. After getting back to work I sat down and began to work (on my plate that is). It was one of the best buffets I've tasted in awhile.

  5. Cheap food, decent food. What's not to love? I come here after a nice trip to the beach with friends.
There is a lot of variety here! You pay at the front then you wait to get seated (sometimes you're lucky and end up getting a table ASAP). The food is not bad. I mean.. For $10.95 (lunch price) per person (drinks cost more though), you get more than what you pay for. Oh and please TIP YOUR WAITRESS!!!!! They work hard to clean up your mess! Come on, people! For $10.95 all you can eat.. Tip them. It's not much to tip them!
There's teeny tiny lobsters to clams, to roast beef, hibachi (there's no extra charge, my friend!), ohhhh and a fondue fountain.. When you're lucky, you don't have little kids crowding around the fountain eating everything (adult supervision required but whatever).. Moving on! There's lots of fruit, jello, cakes (variety of cakes) and ICE CREAM….
The sushi however.. Is not bad but definitely not the best. Don't come here for the sushi if you're a hardcore sushi enthusiast! I'm telling you! I'm warning you! The sushi rolls here is for those sushi noobs! NOOBS! I warned you…

  6. Trying my best not to turn into part of their fixtures. Lol ! Fortunately enough I space out my visit.  Arrived at eleven o'clock. Flaming Grill employees were setting up station and arranging freshly prepared foods accordingly.  There Sushi section received special attention as I watched them roll up the Spicy Tuna with avocado and the  Rainbow as well as other delightful rolls. Truthfully speaking there Hibachi section has all the vegetables and meat options too chose from as you gently place your items on your plate., before handing it over too the cook. From the view of the plexiglass you can see them preparing your items. Additionally seasoning like garlic, eggs too your dish. Flaming Grill conveniently located in a strip mall like settings and can easily get to by automobile, public transportation., (bus stops Litterally in front of the place). Simple walking distance depending on how far you're located from this location.  Staffing very friendly. If you're planning to have a large party for dinning. I strongly suggest /recommend calling for a reservation or book the party room.

  7. I workout next door all the time and never thought of ever eating here.  I had a friend who didn't have anything to do for his birthday so I decided to treat him to some good old Chinese Buffet.

I was impressed with the price and the variety.  I've been to some buffet spots in Nassau that was similar in pricing but no where as close to what this place has to offer.   The price is much more better than any buffet spots in Queens.  You will not find the price and balance ratio anywhere else than here.  The only draw back is that it is far from my house so the trip there can be annoying.  The facility is very clean and the staff is decently friendly.

  8. This place is literally a buffet on steroids!  I've never seen anything like it.
They have everything from crabs, to sushi, hibatchi, salad, american food, shrimp, fish, chicken, kimchi, desserts and sooo much more. It's honestly a sensory overload.

And sadly I'm one of those people, who when presented with too many options, finds it difficult to choose what to eat.  The food, while plentisome, was average buffet food.  I was a little disappointed in the taste of some of the items.  A lot of the offerings were greasy and only mildly tasty.  The dessert also offered very few options such as cake (that looked dry) and some stale cookies.  I ended up dipping some marshmellows into the chocolate fountain to suffice.
