  1. This place is OK. If you're lookin. For a quick cheap Chinese choice this is your spot. They offer pick up, delivery or eat in. Everything is super cheap and pretty tasty. If possible I would stick with vegetarian choices as most of the meat doesn't seem great quality. The inside of the restaurant is pretty small and dark so if you're looking for a cute spot to eat this is not it. Best to pick up or get delivery. The staff is friendly and helpful and are clear when taking your order. The meals are pretty large for the price. I ate the vegetable fried rice, pork dumplings and chicken and broccoli. The fried rice is good but I wish they added some real
Veggies to it. The pork dumplings were really tasty and was my favorite part about the meal.

  2. Did I forget to hit the send key? I thought I reviewed Food King. This is a "local five stars," so my readers in Rhode Island don't need to visit. The quality is solid for the takeout genre for basics like Singapore rice noodles and the prices are below average. I've ventured to the Thai section of the menu a couple of times for drunken noodles, which I liked.

  3. as far as cheap Chinese takeout goes, this place is what you would expected it to be. Unfortunately for Downtown JC, it's about as good as I've found in the area.

  4. This place scared me from afar but, surprisingly it was quite delicious, fast and cheap (insert some silly sexual joke here).

My brother got the great genes in the family: over 6 ft, lean and can't get fat no matter what he eats.  So, he is visiting from Argentina for a little bit and of course he just wants to get dirty on Chinese food like every night and so I referred him to Yelp and said pick a place and we'll try it.  Food King.

The Wonton Soup was awesome (except no pork strips on the bottom that are oh so delicious).  The beef and broccoli was a bit bland but nothing that hot mustard couldn't spice up and steamed pork dumplings…. if I knew how to type delicious in Chinese, it would be done. I am a dumpling maniac, and these dumplings were up to par.

Overall a great experience with Chinese food, except at the end. I was ready to break open that potentially stale hollow cookie and read the unwitty adage that I would try to relate to my life but GASP!!!!!, no fortune cookie. (Shrug) I guess I'll be making up my own fortune this time.
