  1. So my friend lives across the street from here and she gets a lot more visits during the warmer months because of this place. The ice cream is delicious but I really love the flavored iced teas and lemonades. I don't know if I'm just super hot and dehydrated every time I get them but they are sooooooo good and refreshing.the hibiscus berry lemonade is my favorite.
My kiddies can't get enough of the ice cream.

The only con: sometimes the line can get extremely and ridiculously long.

  2. Not much to say, Came here with my friends after brunch and the place was good, it's outside so it's a bit chilly in the fall/winter but there ice cream is good. great local business to support.

  3. Lychee Yuzu Ice-cream! My dreams come true!!! Special thanks to sensei Ben L. and Liz L. for taking me to this amazing ice-cream post! Flavors change every week so once we found out about it, we had to get it! Anyone who knows me, knows that I cannot shut up about how much I love yuzu and lychee flavored things! Who knew somewhere in New York City, they would combine lychee and yuzu together?!

The moment that I anticipated was here! I got the Lychee Yuzu ice-cream on a cone. Yuzu flavor was apparent and in your face, I love it! I did not taste too much of the lychee but I did smell a little bit of the aroma here and there. I did enjoy the ice-cream so much that I had to get a second cone! Flavor was amazingly delicious and the ice-cream texture could be a bit more creamy. Yes, I may need yuzu intervention but who cares, I'm in love!

This place was tricky to find. It is actually right outside of the General Greene restaurant and on the side. The guy behind the counter, who also makes the ice cream was really energetic and comical! I can't wait to try some other special flavors in the near future and hopefully, he will keep Lychee Yuzu on the menu permanently!

  4. Just order the dark chocolate and salted caramel – together.

    PLEASE, TRUST ME.

OHHHH, they have two new flavors that go really well together. The carrot cake (which has HUGE chunks of carrot cake) and Mango Lassi – yes it is salty/tart and not too sweet as lassi should be. I ordered these two flavors together and spouse ordered the aforementioned chocolate/salted caramel. Dipping into all 4 flavors, together, was like a sweet unchained melody.

  5. It's a cool little shack that sells ice cream, that's the best way to describe it. Flavors change often, like every few days so it would be wise to follow them on social media or to give them a call. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and he was telling my group that he spent time all over Asian helping develop flavors, very cool stuff. And shout out to Katie H for checking in, I never even heard of this place. I saw her check in and she mentioned the Lychee Yuzu so I had to take a friend who is a yuzu addict. The guy behind the counter says my friend needs an intervention. lol

    The food:

Lychee Yuzu Ice Cream- The flavors were great, the yuzu really pops right off the bat and the ice cream had a nice smooth consistency kinda like a gelato or icy. I was kinda hoping the ice cream had some kind of a chew or was thicker but that's just personal preference. yelp.com/user_local_phot…

Passionfruit Chocolate Chip- The flavor kinda just punches you in the mouth, the passionfruit was so good. I really enjoyed the ice cream and really liked how the flavor of the passionfruit was really pronounced, but I did wish it was just passionfruit ice cream. For me, I didn't think the chocolate chip complemented the passionfruit, I felt like it was two conflicting flavors.

  6. Fort Grace is so under the radar, I didn't even know it existed until recently (although I really like the General Greene, so I'm not surprised they've done this so well).  I got a scoop of vanilla and one of salted caramel.  I preferred the vanilla but would probably try another flavor next time.  I wouldn't say this was the best ice-cream I've ever had but to my knowledge it's the only local spot in FG and I'd rather come here than walk to the McDonalds on Flatbush for a cone. Also, the baked goods they had on sale looked delicious.

  7. This place is super cute! My boyfriend and I stopped at the outdoor counter yesterday and got some hot cider. It was delicious and reasonably priced. I also like their other location on Greene Ave! It's super close to my apartment and the interior is cute. The people who work there are friendly and the ice cream is yummy! I love their unique flavors!
