This is a fairly new restaurant so it doesn't have a crowd. The servers are very attentive and polite.
The food is amazing, i enjoyed the salsa and chips the most. The salsa had a hint of lemon in it, so i asked the server whats in it? He confirmed its freshly squeezed lemons. The chicken bowl is just as tasty and the chicken is seasoned well. You could definitely taste lots of cilantro in everything they served us.
My margaritas were on point, i had 2….didnt think id have a buzz but i did.
The restroom is very clean and it smelled very good. I cannot stand the sight of toilet paper on the floors.
For those of you that enjoy Mexican food id say this place is a gem. Great service!
I've been to this location and their Brooklyn Heights location and I think this restaurant really varies depending on what you order. I'm not a fan of their fish tacos (my typical go-to Mexican dish), but on a different visit I got their special polenta and fish dish (salmon asada) which was buttery and amazing. Definitely worth a try.
I came here after a beerfest at the Barclays with my cousin and his friends. We initally wanted to dine at Emily's for dinner but they had a two hour wait. So, we decided to dine here for Mexican.
I noticed right way how not busy they were. The only table was German tourist and our table of five. No one else came in for take out or anythign else. We shouldn't have but we got a pitcher of sangria to share and chips and salsa to start. We were already pretty lit from the Barclays. I ordered the pork chop dish with sauteed veggies. Other people got the steak and tacos.
The tacos are a rip off. You get 2 tacos per order and it's the tiny ones that ususally need to double up on the tortillas. I tried the al pastor and the pineapple was sour. It may have gone bad. My dish was just okay. The pork needed more flavor and juice. It seems like it wasn't marinated and they grilled the hell out of it.
The staff was nice though. They gave both table a shot of tequlia on the house.
The bathroom is downstairs which is balls hot. And there is not hand dryer or towels.
I would not stop by here again. I've have better else where
This place is awesome. Guacamole is delicious. Pineapple margaritas are perfect. Staff is very nice. Always dead when I go in. Enjoy that while it lasts because this place is going to get popular once people catch on.
