My boyfriend and I purchased a pulsd deal for unlimited brunch deal this past Sunday. It was an easy ride downtown and a very quick walk from the Houston stop. The place was crowded but we were given a table by the door. We asked if we could be seated at the bar instead. As we always say, take the seats at the bar! The bartender was so very nice and accommodating even though she was super busy. We started with bellinis but just asked for champagne after the first drink. She was very efficient giving us refills throughout the hour and a half we were there.
For our entrees, we ordered the cheeseburger and the grilled chicken. The burger was pretty tasty. It had a pesto like sauce which added to the flavor. My grilled chicken, however, was incredibly bland. It was advertised with potatoes, tomatoes and side salad but as you can see I had one cherry tomato sliced in half with a chicken breast that had been pounded flat with just salt and pepper on it. Thankfully there was a drizzle of balsamic on the plate to add some flavor to it. I had to ask for potatoes and even then they only gave it to me after I pointed out they were on the menu. I needed the potatoes to help pad my stomach because the one piece of chicken and a small salad was not going to help with the unlimited champagne.
Over all, it was a cheap and decent enough. If I return, I will get anything other than chicken though.
