  1. I have ordered three times from this place- it is the ONLY spot around Clinton Hill/Bed-Stuy that delivers late night until 5am. I have gotten the Veggie Pizza pie, which was great, I shared it with my friend who was staying over. The second time I ordered an American Pie- without realizing that there is American Cheese on it. The third time I got a baked ziti with eggplant parm and an antipasto salad. Both were great and lasted as leftovers throughout the week! Delivery comes within 20-30 minutes hot and fresh! Wonderful local neighborhood spot.

  2. Great for late night drinking recovery but it's nothing out of this world. My partner did freak out over the wrapped smoked sausage.

  3. Typical cheap slice of NY pizza. No clue what all the rave reviews are about. Luigi's is by far the #1 hole in the wall pizza place in Clinton Hill.

  4. When it's past midnight and you're craving pizza, I recommend this place.
Fast delivery within 20 minutes of me calling and the pizza was hot and tasty! I also ordered mozzarella sticks and they were good. Cheese pizza was great. I'll be ordering from here again

  5. Not the best pizza, not the worst. For being the pizza place open at 3am on a Tuesday, it wasn't bad at all. I got the pepperoni and sausage pizza, the sausage was a little chewy but overall the pizza was average. For $2.50 a slice (I think) it was worth it for some late-night eating.

  6. It's typical NY pizza that hits the damn spot when you need it. The crust is crunchy, cheese is cheesy, and the sauce is a little sweet but not overwhelming. It's not gourmet while I'm sure you weren't expecting for Myrtle Ave. But it's solid.

  7. So I grew up in Queens, and moved to California, and when I come back into town it is Really Really Important to get a slice of Good New York Pizza, because boy do they not do that stuff right anywhere west of the Hudson River.

Unfortunately, neither do they do it right here. I was dubious when I looked at the slices and saw them more cheesy than tomato-y, but I figured, ok, well at least the flavors should be right, and at 11pm not that many other places were open around here. Nope. There wasn't enough sauce, the crust was crispy and didn't flop, it was too bready and cheesy and there just wasn't that oozy blending of layers into a synchronous succulent whole. This was Sbarro's style pizza. This was… gasp… California style pizza! I am left feeling vaguely sullied, with my pizza craving more than vaguely unsatisfied.

  8. Well, I said I'd come by again, and I did.

This time, I went with some pizza and some chicken parm on pasta. The difference really is night and day! The chicken quality was admittedly still a bit mcnuggety (basically, don't order anything with chicken), but the sauce was excellent this time around, and the pasta was good as well (though when I asked for it "al dente", all I got was blank looks.) It came with bread, and all told, was an ok meal at a great value.

I had come absolutely famished however, and knew I wanted to try the pizza, and that's what really keeps this place afloat. Now -that- is some pizza! Trouble is, the rest of their food is pretty unfortunate, so their overall, not so great.

Still loud too. Not so much a romantic date spot.
