  1. I will try to make this as accurate as possible! I myself am a Georgian living in the city raised on authentic home cooked meals by none one other than my grandmother and mother. I have to be honest when I say I am incredibly picky when it comes to Georgian cooking.. I have been raised in a household which prides itself of the preservation of Georgian cooking! We came here for my 25th birthday. An intimate setting with soothing blue lights and paintings all over the walls. I had entered an underground Georgian cookery( in my imagination). We ordered for a party of 6 however it was enough food to feed a party of 12 (the Georgian way). Starting from the authentic house salad one with walnuts and one without, the spinach salad "ispanaxi" to Lobio, mchadi, badrejani, tonis puri (traditional bread), the "Julien" which is a warm cheese and mushroom dish.. Those were all just appetizers (mind you) and they were truly tasty! Then for the courses of course my brother and father ordered up some "shashlik" also known as kebabs! Potatoes with garlic and mushrooms were a real winner! Every bite that evening made me satisfied and proud that this little representation of my country in the heart of Brighton beach exists for people to experience! The owners were there that night and extremely courteous and hospitable.. They let us take over their sound system and play our own Georgian music. Our waitress was a gem with a ton of patience and got every order right! To end the night, I had my cake and got to eat it too! A delicious chocolate cake layered with sour cherry preserves.. MmM! Definitely worth the trip from Queens! I hope you all go and experience the delicious foods of Georgia!

  2. Fantastic !!
We started with Khachapuri, a delishious I must say " white pizza " type dish. Oozy, just amazing. Then we had Kuoati, a sausage on a bed of basic French fries and red onion. Khinkali, my favorite fried dumplings, resembling soup dumplings. And finally Chicken Tabaka, a Cornish hen cut up and dry grilled with an amazing spice. A great meal with good friends, some vodka and wine !!
