  1. Upgraded to 4 stars.

I've been back to Gianna's a bunch of times, and the overall experience is very good.  Yes, service is sometimes off, but it's mostly good, and the food is the main reason you choose a restaurant, and Gianna's has quality, home-style pasta, meats and seafood.

Recently they had a credit card processing problem, and the nice woman who oversees the front end was persistent in assuring that the payment was processed properly and I was not overcharged, even checking in with me by phone several days later.

So solid Italian food in a small, comfortable setting, with mostly good service is what you'll find in Gianna's. It's nice to have Gianna's nearby.

  2. OMG Where to start? I know.. first : I don't have pictures with the food! Had lunch at Gianna's twice and because I was starving and the food looks soooo goood and smells sooooooooooo good I started eating right away.

    I had:
    – long hot peppers with prosciutto and parmesan – delicious! perfect cooked, tasty prosciutto
    – penne alla vodka – small size ( even the small size is more than I can eat so I always share .. ) . I swear these are the best penne alla vodka I ever had in my life!
    – a chocolate cake desert with ice cream – very good 🙂

Pasta comes with a small garden salad – always perfectly seasoned.
And, like any truly Italian place they have warm bread .

The ladies that served us are sweet nice ladies, a real pleasure to go there.

I promise, next time I will take pictures with the food!

  3. Came here for lunch. The penne vodka with aspagus was  good,  it was a large portion……..and it wasn't the family style serving…..this was the single portion. The chicken rollatini was just ok, the inside was pretty much melted , watery cheese. I thought it was pricy considering it was just two rollatinis and a side of veggies.
