Ordered from them off Seamless. Despite Seamless saying the food would take 60-70min the food actually came in a reasonable 20-30. Me and a friend ordered two pasta dishes (about $10ea) and a soda. They forgot the soda and didn't include forks or napkins (I obviously have them at my house but it's usually included when you get delivery from a place).
The two pastas we got were spaghetti and meatballs and manicotti. The sauce wasn't very good at all, not much different than any generic watery store bought pasta sauce. The two meatballs were dry and tasted more like a cross between a hamburger and meatloaf. The manicotti was covered in a ton of cheese and the pasta was so overcooked I couldn't tell which part was cheese and whicch part was the pasta. The ricotta was gritty and had an odd texture as well.
Still everything was edible enough that it wasn't thrown away but that was my first and last time eating from Giardini's
Sicilian is legit. Little pricey but well worth it. Small indoor space but definitely come by for quality pizza in the neighborhood.
$20 for a grandma pie, I expect more than what we got in delivery. The pie was very flimsy and the delivery guy must've tossed it around because it was all shifted to one side, overlapped and stuff. Just look at the photo.
On the Grandma slice, I liked the unpredictable flavors (was that nutmeg?) but there just wasn't enough topping. The plain slice was very good. It was more stratified than usual, with the cheese at the top concealing an excellent burst of sauce.
Best slice on Smith Street. Really awesome slices. That's all you need to know!

Great neighborhood pizza place, but not anything you need to come from out of town for. I especially like that their sauce is heavy on the onions.
Also, the owners are from Sicily, so that helps.
Just visited recently. The pizza was ordinary. Nothing fancy, but I have to give credit where it is due—you do get a huge portion. The tomato sauce was average. Maybe I am used to more garlicky or tarty sweet flavors. My favorites are My Little Pizzeria and Napoli. So I guess I am accustomed to a different taste. The wait was 10 minutes at most, and if you do come at 3 pm like I did, expect a huge barrage of demanding, hungry souls just released from the local school to be fed asap. The price of a slice was $2.50 and the garlic knots were $1 for 4 of them. I have to say they have really delicious garlic knots with fresh parsley and real garlic slices. It was the highlight of my journey to this pizza joint.
Good pizza, great options, and they never look at us weird when my nephew asks for unions on his pepperoni pizza. Not the absolute best Brooklyn slice I've ever had, but just the sheer fact that they had pesto pizza puts them high in my book (and oh, it tasted good!). They have a decent variety of drinks too and the staff is very helpful. What more can you ask?
