Since I recently moved to Brooklyn I've been using Grub Hup (cross referenced with Yelp of course) to findgood places to eat!
I typed in Thai and this venue came back as having on of the highest star ratings.
It is vegetarian which I didn't realize till after I ordered but it was ok.
I ordered:
Miso mushroom soup: a little watery but was very tasty and loaded with shrooms
Mixed green salad with ginger dressing: small salad made of iceberg lettuce some cucumber slices, carrot shavings and a grape tomato with tasty dressing
Thai "vegi" seafood: I didn't realize that this meant pseudo-seafood at the time (clearly my error) composed of vegi-fishcake, seafcod and mixed veggies (per paper menu). This was served with brown rice and curry sauce. It was "ok". I am not crazy about fake seafood but the curry sauce was good and there was a vegetable overload!
The delivery was super fast! Way faster than predicted by GrubHub.
I think if I had to take someone to a vegetarian restaurant I would have this food again but with so many other options around I think I'd explore more.
I placed an order here via Seamless. Interesting how it was just under the "Chinese" section, but not under the "vegetarian." Being vegan, I stumbled upon a hidden gem in this area of Brooklyn.
My food came really quickly, in about 20-30 minutes. I got everything I ordered. The food's flavor was not bad, the only bad thing is that the things I ordered ("spare ribs" and "teriyaki" with brown rice) was drowning in sauce (only a bad thing because I'm not a fan of too much sauce, but if that's your thing, more power to you). The sauce wasn't too oily though, which is good. I often hate it when I bite into a piece of broccoli and oil explodes in my mouth. It didn't happen with this place.
I will definitely order from here again and try different menu items.
