Only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars because they are a bit pricey.
I ordered from here at least 5 times before. I was waiting till I tried their savory crepes before I wrote a review.
So I've tried:
SWEET:
– Strawberry Banana & Nutella Crepe
– Mixed Berries, Banana, Sliced Almonds, Homemade cream sauce
– Mixed Berries, Sliced Almonds, Coconut Shavings, Nutella on the side
– Strawberry, Oreo & Coconut Shavings combo, with Dark Chocolate.
SAVORY:
Spinach, Prosciutto, sundried tomatoes, and a cheese… forgot the name
ALL OF THEM WERE AWESOME. I got my bf and both his roommates hooked.
I would recommend this place to anyone. plus they are open late! aka.. late night seamless munchies! YAS.
(Read Wine bar review prior to this one)….
After any great meal, there comes a moment when the heart and stomach wants more , there comes a time when your "sweet tooth" sends a stimulation to your central nervous system and ignites the cravings of a third trimester pregnant women. Yes, there is the time when u gotta have some DESSERT!!!! My mental photography skills lead me to this place after a cozy, intimate dinner affair @ WINE Bar, around the corner. Wifey wanted a crepe, and I was like "hell yea" . ( u never need to give me an excuse for dessert, im there!!!). The crepe was I lije to call the "classic" b/c it was banana, strawberry, and nutella, with a side of vanilla ice cream. A few stars less for an awkward "J-one ish" type waitress with an aftasimon kalaska , but nevertheless a cherry on the top to a chilled out monday night , a few weeks before 2015. What else can u really ask for on a monday???. Grab your girl and grab a crepe. Eat responsibly, yelpers.
I really love the crepes here so I wish I could add more stars. I've been a loyal customer, always ordering the same thing for delivery about once a week after a long shift at work. This last time I ordered for delivery and upon receiving the food discovered it was the wrong crepe. So I quickly called the store, a man answered and questioned me making sure I wasn't lying. Then said he would have my correct order sent out. But instead of getting a new delivery, He called me back 45min later to tell me to eat the one that was originally delivered. Didn't offer a refund or any other alternative. Except to eat what I didn't want. $13 down the drain. Won't be coming back for more here unfortunately. 🙁
Excellent crepe. Not as good as creperie in the nearby LES and west village, but very acceptable. Has a French-countryside off-white-yellow minimalist interior with plenty of seating. Takes credit cards. A bit more expensive than creperie and the menu options are not as interesting, but the food came out right away and the service was fast and friendly. I had a crepe with fresh strawberries, bananas, nutella, and vanilla ice cream, which was fantastic. I will return for sure.
Great addition to the neighborhood. They make really good savory crepes and they deliver all the way to my job! Their buckwheat crepes are perfect. My favorite is the avocado, goat cheese and poached egg. The smoked salmon crepe is also delicious.
– recommend: proscuitto w/ brie, ham w/ gruyere, nutella w/ banana, strawberry and vanilla ice cream
– the proscuitto w/ brie would've been better without the cantaloupe. . .though melon usually blends well with proscuitto, when put within a hot crepe. . . it just seems out of place and soggy
– the proscuitto w/ brie was a bit on the salty side, I would've expected them to blend either with something else since both elements are salty to begin with, but it was still my favorite of the three, I enjoyed the intensity and indulgence
– the boy liked the ham w/ gruyere of the two savories (we split them), which was more subtle and well balanced
