The neighborhood sucks. There must be a methadone clinic nearby, because I've never seen so many strung out junkies in one place. But hey, it's NYC. Try not to let it get you down.
Are you still with me? Good, because the reward is great food. My wife had the curry chicken. It was spiced wonderfully. The chicken was super tender and literally fell off the bones. The flavor exploded in my mouth.
I had the oxtail. The meat was super fatty and spicy, as oxtail is known to be. I'm sure it clogged a mile or so of arteries. But that spicy fat was heaven on earth. Again, the meat fell off the bones just by picking it up.
Truth be told, the food is a bit pricey. But boy is it tasty! We definitely plan on coming back.
Good Beef Patties….I love the coconut bread… it is soooooooo goood!!!! YUM. I have only had a few chances to eat here but every time I have had a great experience!!! I love this place!!!
Their patties are really good. I love the jerk chicken patty. I've tried the beef, shrimp, and chicken and those are all good also. And they're very cheap!
Their jerk chicken is a little spicy, but very flavorful.
There's not much seating at this place during lunch hours, so don't always expect to seat and eat here.
