What a lovely store! Apparently they've been around for like 18 years but I never noticed them until they moved into their new (current) location. The store is JAM PACKED with products, making it somewhat difficult to navigate aisles when the store is crowded, but I really appreciate their effort to offer as many products as possible.

Some items (such as out of season organic berries) were quite price, as expected, but most items were priced pretty on par with other places. They also had deals galore on certain items so I stocked up on organic pasta, pasta sauce, cereal, juice, and other items that were marked down to really good prices.

All the staff was super helpful and friendly and the store really had a tremendous selection of just about everything one could imagine (though not much prepared food). They have tons of vegetarian and vegan items, boxed, canned, jarred, and frozen goods, plus an impressive fresh produce section, which included many organic items. A real gem in this neighborhood in particular.

So I have family in the Bronx and they are always talking about this place. Since I was planning to ditch my old lotions and shampoos for some organic ones. They told me this was the go place to go. I had to beg my non vegan friend to take me here and of course this veganite gets her way!!!!

The market is small so if you are not paying attention you will surely miss it. When you first enter, you will see the produce section. They have organic fruits and vegetables. The aisle next to the produce is the organic body lotion products, sprays, deodorants etc. I even found dish washing products on sale. All the way in the back is the dairy products. Most products are dairy-free but truthfully I stayed away from this area because some products were overpriced. For ex. my califias almond milk, which I buy in Staten Island for 4 dollars. In this store they wanted 6 and change. No bueno! Nasha doesnt like that! The customer service was ok and I walked away a Happy Vegan!

    Tips
    1. Transportation. It is near the 2 and the 5 train.
    2. Parking. You have to pay the meter and depending on the time you go. You may have trouble looking for parking.
    3. They have real chocolate
    4. This market is expensive but if youre not in a rush, you can find some items on sale.
    5. The aisles are super smalk but prepare to say "excuse me" alot.
    6. As I mentioned before, please shop around  other markets and compare prices. Some items in this store  are no bueno pricey!

Seems like this place has been here forever…why I am just finding out about it?

They seem to have it all and the staff is super helpful. Some of the stuff seems to be a bit pricey, but it's a health food store, what did you expect?
