  1. Stopped by today for a sweet treat and coffee and am glad I did. I was greeted with a smile by the staff and took a few moments to survey all the mini treats before deciding on a Napoleon and Almond Tart. Both were tasty and just the right size; amply sweet without being over the top.

I appreciated how clean they kept the place and that there were a few tables so that I could sit and enjoy my purchase right there. Even though I didn't detect anything amiss,  I observed a staffer come out and sweep the seating area. Now I see why it looked as clean as it did to begin with!

The self serve coffee station wasn't visually appealing as it kind of reminded me of an interstate truck stop.  That being said,  the coffee was decent and they had panty 2 of sweeteners and "lighteners" from which to choose. Coffee was also kept sufficiently hot but not scalding hot (thankfully).

Pricing is fair and selection is plentiful.  I look forward to coming back and trying out some other items next time and will also keep them in mind for a big order, if one is needed.

  2. My family and I have been going to this place for about 10 years now. They recently renovated which is great! They deserved the extra space. Where do I start with this place?! The breads here are one-of-a-kind. You must definitely try the raisin walnut bread. It's not always available, but when it is you MUST snatch it. There are usually about 2-3 loaves of it out when I come in the morning. It's soft and delicious and I could eat the entire loaf if I wasn't paying attention. I occasionally get the Italian bread which is equally as good. It tastes best slightly toasted with olive oil and herbs. Yes, another source of carbaholic heaven.

The cakes are perfection. My personal favorite is the Seven-layer cake. It's yellow cake with layers of buttercream and I believe chocolate fudge icing inside with sprinkles on the outside. It's a cake that I keep coming back to because it's just sooooo good! I've also tried the cheesecake, chocolate mousse, red velvet, fruit tart and strawberry shortcake (also a MUST!).

My pick for the morning muffins are carrot or chocolate chip. You won't go wrong either if you choose the turnovers (apple, raspberry, cheese).  If you happen to see their large chocolate chip cookies while you're there, I suggest you take more than 1…you'll thank me later. It's so bad…but I usually eat this on the drive home.

  3. We decided to get our cake to bring to a bbq party on this place based on recommendation by a friend. The bakery is inside a small commercial center where PC Richard appliance store is located. Looking for a parking is a hustle. The place is small but clean. There is not much selection and  all of their cake comes only in one size which I find it small for a party. The cookies selections are plentiful. Too bad we are here for the cake. Anyway, we opted to get the biggest pie we saw instead. The price is reasonable.

The peach pie was one of the favorites in the party,  the combination of the fruit, the bread and the sugar they blended with it are beyond to my expectation. This bakery is an  alternative to my neighborhood bakery.

  4. Love the $15 for $10 option. It may not be huge savings but in the lone run itS pretty good. I was pretty happy getting five off my seven layer cake which I'm excited to enjoy.

Mom and I hAve been going here for ages. They have fantastic mondle bread!! It's moist and chocolatey and I could eat the whole thing myself if someone let me.

They just did renovations and the place looks great. It was cute before but the new layout is more airy and you don't feel like you're on top of other people. It's always been clean and nice looking. I don't think I've ever seen something out of place. It's usually pretty busy so you can see it's a good place to go.

The staff is nice. The ladies here have always been sweet and helpful. Even today with it busy for the Easter crowd the girl had a nice smile and was patient as we ordered

    I completely recommend this place!

  5. Came in because we received a welcome to the neighborhood package with free 1 pound of sugar cookies to this place deal.

And we are a fan! The sugar cookies came in a variety different flavors and my favorite is the jam kind.
The girls behind the counters are nice and they were very patient when I couldn't make up my mind about the cookie choices.

The Parking lot can be a challenge since it's one way and I had to go around behind the building to avoid being on the wrong side
