  1. I love the atmosphere here – it's relaxing and really chill. Came here to kill some time and and enjoyed a coffee. The coffee here is delicious! I didn't try anything else so I don't know how everything else is but I'm already a fan.

Staff is super friendly. This is not just a coffee shop – think bakery, cafe/deli, specialty grocery store/gift shop all in one place. They sell sandwiches, pizza, gourmet food, healthy beverages, and etc.

Apparently this place is known for their doughnuts but I didn't know at the time. I'm going to have to go back and try them! They also have cute things for the home and fancy food items you can buy and make in your kitchen. Oh and you can also buy booze here. How awesome is that?!

  2. I really like this spot but I have to minus one star because they are VERY pricey.  They have such a wide variety of goods.  From groceries to candles to wine and freshly made baked goods and sandwiches.  They allow pets.  Very friendly service. Nice, easygoing  vibe. A few areas to sit and eat.  Their variety of gourmet chocolates is fantastic.  Today for breakfast I got a medium black coffee and an everything bagel with bacon, lettuce(not crappy iceberg lettuce thankfully!)and tomato with a jalapeno cilantro aioli and it came out to ten dollars and change!!!! Damn. I won't be coming here for breakfast with these prices. Only when I want to treat myself.  I will admit that the coffee was excellent and everything about that sandwich was delightful! From the soft, fresh bagel to the yummy bacon and fresh vegetables and the aioli that was so refreshing.  I'll be seeing you again Gourmet Guild, but not unless it's payday!

  3. So story:
We're at MatchaBar because I have an obsession with Matcha and we eat their donuts. And then we eat more of their donuts.

Then they tell us where they get their donuts, Gourmet Guild. Obviously AL wants to go their first thing. So we make the trek to Gourmet Guild and buy more donuts.

    AND OMG They are AMAZING.

Definitely go, it's also a fun supermarket but really go for the donuts and the donut holes.

  4. The coffee is absolutely delicious and the place is beautiful. I definitely recommend it.

  5. Cute location and nice speciality store. Steve (the owner) is very informative and really takes pride in his products as well as customer service. If you're a skeptic, try a donut. You'll come back for more 🙂

  6. In a town filled with places to buy upscale treats, Gourmet Guild stands out because it really feels like a neighborhood joint. In addition to things like fancy hot sauce and beer, they also offer coffee, sandwiches, and pastries and a big communal table to enjoy it all. The owners/managers are really nice and helpful if you have a question.

At the risk of sounding like a Portlandia character, I had a great chat about balsamic vinegar with the ladies that work there and found out that they have special balsamic sent over in big vats to be refilled in glass bottles that they provide and that you can bring back to refill. They were out of their most popular variety, but they encouraged me to take a chance on their peach balsamic and it's now one of my favorite ways to make salad dressing!
