“I've been here multiple times to try all their snow fluff special combo and their Korean donut.”
“If fried dough and baklava collided and made a baby, it would be a little pillow of dessert-y goodness named Ho-Dduk.”
“They serve drinks (coffee, tea), but their shaved snow ("snow fluff") desserts are undoubtedly the star of the show.”

I find myself more enchanted with the fun, spacious cafe than I am with the ho-dduk. The cafe is well-lit with tall ceilings and lots of seating and a couple of small couches. The wooden blocks on the wall are a lot of fun, but I can't help but think that sugar, sticky residue, and tiny crevices attracts pests. That's just the pessimist in me talking.
As for the ho-dduk, (which is just plain fun to say, isn't it?) a Korean-style doughnut with melted brown sugar, cinnamon, and walnuts, I thought it was a decent dessert, but the ho-dduk was a little too chewy for my liking. With the vanilla ice cream, it was a little better, because the cold ice cream helps balance some of the sticky texture.
I would probably like the shaved snow, which looks delicious, but the prices are steep. The ho-dduk is not egregiously expensive, but for $6, it's not a great price for a cinnamon doughnut and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I wouldn't mind if they stepped up their ice cream game and switched it for a scoop of vanilla bean instead.
"Let's be graceful shall we?"
This place is truly a walk of art, from the moment you reach the place you see nothing but glass inviting you to come inside the establishment. Fresh, elegant are just a couple of worlds to describe this experience.
"Korean snowcream"
So what I order consist of sweet milk, vanilla snowcream (very light texture of ice cream) fresh chopped strawberries, with fresh ripped banana. The portion was much more than for one person so go with that significant other and wow them over with this dessert, you can go and create your own snowcream for just under $12.00(I include this with topping) so it pretty affordable.
"Overall"
This place is inviting with numerous amounts of flavors and dessert types so come with friends or in a group the overall experience is an epic one
Great dessert shop. If you don't like crowds or a wait, I'd recommend coming here during the day. At night they only offer table service and there's often a wait (wait time varies of course). During the day it's like a typical cafe and you can sit where you like and order yourself a the cashier counter.
I often get the shaved ice which is delicious! Definitely share it with friends unless you have a large appetite…then maybe you can finish it independently.
I also tried the korean donut with ice cream. Super delicious!! i'd recommend. The donut wasn't too sweet and was such a great combo with the ice cream.
I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in the area!
OMG This place is boss! I had the green tea ice cream and waffle dessert. Man one of the best desserts I've heard in my entire life. It was the perfect balance. The drizzle of chocolate and oreo cookie crumbs were perfect. This will definitely be my go to spot on a treat day.
I could literally dessert here every single day. This place is awesome. Desserts are my life & I live to eat all of them. Their OG Snow Fluff is DA BOMB. Just a tip, if you're not into Asian flavors (black sesame, red beans, etc), you're probably not going to like this one. Also the matcha chai latte was awesome, matcha + chai? YES PLS!
This is quite a gem! I would say that this bakery/cafe in the heart of KTown in Manhattan might very well have THE BEST bingsoo I have ever indulged on in my life. I've been here 2 times, and both times were as good as each other, and was packed with people. That has to be a testament of how delicious this place is.
I've gotten the O.G. and Elixir bingsoo as well as the hodduk dessert. The Elixir is by far the most popular I would think off all the items as it has green tea shaved ice and boba bubbles on the side with condensed milk dripping down the side. It is truly a sight to behind on will make you cry with how delicious it is. You will be going out begging for a 2nd, no 3rd serving. The O.G. is delicious as well but I would say it isn't as good as the Elixir. It has black sesame flavored shaved ice, with I think is taro on the side. I would say that this combination is not as sweet, so if you want something on the lightly sweetened side, then this is your choice. Finally, the hodduk is like a donut with red bean filling on the inside and a nice crispy sweet outer layer.
I would suggest you try all three as they are all droolingly delicious. But of course the Elixir trumps all. Happy eating and check out Grace Street if you are passing through KTown in Manhattan.
After eating some of the most amazing shaved ice in Hawaii, I've been on the search for something to match it. I came upon Grace Street on yelp and decided to check it out. The seating here can be a little awkward. I had to share the same bench with another customer (who was apparently on a date). The bench kept shaking because he kept moving forward to flirt with his date (talk about awkward). Share the bench please!
I ordered the shaved ice dessert – sweet milk with honey. It was average. I didn't find anything special about it other than the name. I would like to give this place another shot in the near future.
Overall, it's a nice, clean and chill place to hangout with friends. I love the set up and atmosphere.
Good for groups, but it can get pretty busy. Line was out the door at 9pm on a Saturday and waited 25 minutes for a table.
Service – Even though it was super packed, the waiters were highly attentive.
Regular milk tea – Asked for less sugar, but this was still a little too sweet and left my mouth feeling quite dry.
The OG – Usually get green tea shaved ice, but decided to switch it up with black sesame. Delicately melts in your mouth and balanced well with the red bean and mochi bits.
Next time I come back, I'm trying the hodduk (Korean donuts)!
