  1. I called for takeout after my dentist recommended this place because they have delivery. Well, I called for delivery on a Saturday night and they told me no delivery that night. A bit off-putting. I was in the mood for Greek so I decided to not be lazy and call back for pickup.

I ordered the Hummus and the lamb yeero with zatziki sauce. Yum.

Took only 10-15 so I hopped right in the car. I waited 10 minutes when I got there. This restaurant is BYO and an order at the counter, get a number type of place. Since I was waiting I did some observing.  I watched them preparing a Greek salad and I was underwhelmed by the unripened tomatoes (one of my pet peeves). They also topped off the iceberg lettuce with mixed lettuce, almost as if to disguise.

Once I got home, my food was fortunately still warm.  The hummus lacked garlic and flavor all together, but the pita was warm and soft.  My lamb yeero was definitely more tasty than my hummus, but I think I can still taste the onion days later.  I guess it's all or nothing with flavor at this place.

I would definitely return with my husband to give it another try.  Possibly a crepe?

  2. Hands down this place is close and is very good for Greek food! It's the place to go from the Greek Salad, to the Lamb wrap, and the Rice pudding. The place is a hidden gem!! You'll have to go see for yourself! And of course the fact that it can be delivered to your house on a gross rainy evening and on time adds to how perfect this place is.

  3. The food is absolutely fresh and delicious and they allow you to make substitutions which is great considering I only eat poultry. The delivery service takes a very long time but the delivery guy is always very apologetic and explains how busy they were which is understandable.

  4. We were feeling Greek food one night and we decided to give this place a try. I really liked the Tzatziki sauce they used for the greek salad and the main entrees. You can really taste the creaminess of the greek yogurt and the refreshing cucumber and dill pieces in it. My lamb gyro was juicy and tender. The biggest disappointment of the night was the eggplant and zucchini chips. I took two bites and passed on the rest because it was the most salty dish I have ever tasted. They should really ease up on the seasoned salt. Other than that, this place was ok. FYI: Portions are massive!!

  5. I've tried this spot a couple of times . Not impressed with their grilled calamari appetizer . It tasted very acidiy . I've had better and tastier elsewhere. I've had their spreads on varies times but the taste is not consistent . The ambiance and decor is nice however but The service varies. The waiter did not check to see if everything was ok.

  6. This place is something special.

I am a huggggggeeee lover for lamb, the lamb here any way is great.

The spinach pie will make you feel like you are in Greece.

My favorite appetizer is the fried zucchini and eggplant chips with the garlic dip.

  7. Wow was I surprised at this place! My friend and I came for their set dinner price that included a salad, entree and dessert for only $15!

My Oh my was it good. It was also enough food to last two meals so I definitely liked the value of the meal, especially the quality and flavor.

The Greek salad had giant globs of feta cheese that paired so well with a light lemon vinaigrette on the salad with tomatoes and red onions. I got a chicken plate and the tzatziki sauce was phenomenal! The fries were kinda soggy with the juices from the chicken  but it was still delicious.

Dessert had a small selection as well and I highly recommend the Greek yogurt with honey! OMG it was so creamy and delicious and had a really nice pairing with the fresh honey. I want to go back to buy more of that Greek yogurt and eat it for breakfast everyday. It didn't even need honey as I could eat it plain. Man Oh man.

Overall I love this place. I've had other Greek food before but haven't been impressed with the dishes as much as this place. When I try more places I can compare but so far this place has good food for great value.

  8. Came here for a quick bite and were not disappointed.  Staff was friendly and the environment was clean.  Prices we're reasonable and food came out delicious, probably one of the better Greek places we've been to in NYC.  Try their gyro platter, the lamb meat was delicious.
