  1. As many people have said, yes, the service is very slow. But, their coffee does taste good. It was dark, flavorful, and robust. Although, I did not like their almond milk. I got it with my latte and it made my latte all jello-y and did not mix well with the espresso. I've never had that experience before with almond milk.

  2. I had high hopes for this place but honestly wasn't impressed. I paid $5.50 for a dirty chai that was very watery. I do like their outdoor seating area, however I'm just going to stick with Starbucks across the street from now on for better quality drinks at that price.

  3. Update:

Previously I was very disappointed from the quality of the cappuccino here; especially because I've been to other Gregory's coffee and kno the quality was better. Today, revisited the same location, at suggestion of the Gregory's coffees management email. After my last review, the management reached out to "apologize" and to revisit on the house. It's been almost four months since and revisited, with no expectation other than just cup of joe. Few things to note:

    1. I entered the store, wasn't sure if The location manager would even honor the promise; however, to my surprise, the location manager, welcomed and honored without any question. Suggested treats that he liked for me and brought them out. Points for professionalism and painless transaction.

    2. Nevermind the nice hospitality when it comes to the taste. I ordered the cappuccino, this time the creme and the milk foam was def more dense, good thickness, and rich, and not milky. So, points for the good quality cappuccino.

    3. Tried their treats, chocolate cookie and the mosaic block of chocolate treat. alittle on the sweet side for my taste, but quality was good, would be good for chocolate lovers or sweet teeth people. the cookie was chewy.

    4. Now for the management. Points to the upper management for sending feed back right away to amend after reviews; good customer service. Prompt, to the point, and most of all, right attitude( not making excuses etc). very happy to see; good example of customer service.

hope more businesses follow suit, and ur reputation and quality of ur products flourish ur business.

  4. Say no to this location.  If it's your first time at Gregory's, please don't compare your experience here to any other Gregory's.  I came here with a handful of friends because it was happy hour.  I received an email about it that it started at 1PM – 2PM.  I go in and they tell me that 100 wall street location starts their happy hour at 2 PM – 4PM.

I was so annoyed because I had purposely walked there to get a coffee.  There are so many other coffee places in the area that I could have went to. I did not get a drink at all from them because they were not budging about giving me a $2 drink.  They wanted me to wait until exactly 2 PM — it was already 1:20 PM.  Either I wait for 40 minutes or not…but please you really want me to wait until 2 PM when I have work to do? Nope.  I'm not cheap, but it just doesn't make any sense.

Not only did I not get coffee, but I was embarrassed that I promoted them in the first place.  The manager was there and he would NOT budge even when I showed them the email.  They were telling me that the email signature said "Park ave" location.  Can you Gregory's as a company HAVE THE SAME mailing list please?  If not the same mailing list, can you at least have the same promotions?  Stop confusing everyone please.  I'm a gregular, so it's not like I hate your coffee — just the way I was treated today.

  5. A coffee chain that feels less commercialized than Starbucks. The inside is pretty modern and bright and the walls are glass. I tried the apple cider, which was actually delicious: crisp, tart, and just the right amount of sugariness.

I wish they had more stuff on their menu but can also see the value in this more simplistic approach!

  6. Gregory's is usually 4 stars for me I'm always happy to see one around but less one star for the service at this location. I don't mind at all if they're slow since it can get busy but when I visited they forgot to make my drink entirely and didn't realize until after I told them when I had been waiting a long time.

I ordered an iced coffee ($3) which was good. There's small counter seating inside and big tables outside. The store is clean and there's fast wi-fi here.

  7. I've never seen a busy weekday here. +1 for no wait! Starbucks is right across the street and always has a line.

I got an americano and received it a minute after I placed my order. The store is cramped with limited seats, but there is plenty of outdoor seating.

It cost about $3 for a small americano. It tastes bold & dark and is my default choice whenever I stop by.

  8. Pastries at the spot are fresh and delicious and the folks behind the counter are so nice.  I don't know about their coffee, I'm not a coffee drinker. Check out my profile photo…I'm very particular about my teeth….but my belly… I don't  mind.

Try the carrot cake is more moist than the banana bread. Also the apple fritter. There are No chucks of apple.
