  1. Grill Kabob is part of a small chain, and this location is the only one in New York. It's my opinion that for the money, it's the best value and quality that they provide within the food court of the mall.

The food is comparable to restaurant quality. Your meal consists of the meat of your choice, char grilled to perfection with a small side salad, two types of rice and a type of flat bread that they make on premises in their own clay oven. They offer kobeeda, a type of ground beef as well as beef, lamb and my favorite, chicken. They offer combinations as well that I think are enough for two. The meal is a little heavy on the carbs, I've never actually seen anybody finish all the rice and bread. But, not for lack of trying.

They offer both a white, and a green sauce. My boyfriend thinks the white is yogurt based while I think its mayo. The green offers a tangy contrast. I like both, although truthfully, the food needs neither and can stand alone.

They offer regular and chicken gyros as well. Don't bother with them. These items do not play up to their strengths. The gyro meat on the rotating spit largely just sits there, and they serve it on supermarket quality pita bread as opposed to what they make fresh. While they don't taste bad, the platters are, by far, the better choice.

Since your meat is tossed on the grill once you place your order, allow about 10 minutes or so for your food to be ready. Prices, while higher than some of the other fast food options, are very fair when you take into account what you're getting.
