“It's a college student hang out (city college is across the street) but the students aren't disturbing and they have plenty of tvs for sports and aren't opposed to changing a game for you.”
“We sat at the bar the bartender Carolina was very friendly and would check on us regularly.”

They have a jukebox and bathrooms are spacious, clean, well lit and have full length mirrors. Score!
It was extremely empty when we strolled in a few minutes after midnight on a Saturday. Maybe 6 people? Drinks & service were ok but we were at the bar and didn't order food. Nothing special so far.
Maybe Friday night is better? I found it weird that the male bartender was encouraging patrons who were leaving to try the bar across the street ( the grange). Not sure what potential this place has and maybe they don't either.
Excellent service. The brunch menu with unlimited mimosas rocks. Get the shrimp and red grits, or the chicken biscuit!
Great addition to the neighborhood!
I've been waiting for a place like this to open for a long time. I went here recently for the first time and was very impressed. The beer selection is excellent and very reasonably priced!
The food menu is better than typical bar food. Make sure to get the garlic fries – they're very powerful!
I came here on a Saturday night and it was not too busy. Hopefully the Harlem Public yuppies don't find out about this place anytime soon. The service was OK although one of the servers was a bit rude.
I'll certainly be back regularly!
I came here with my two favorite dudes for a Mets game and we all loved it.
It was really a spur of the moment decision to go to Grill on the Hill. We didn't have anything else to do, so we decide to chill at a bar and watch the game. It was surprisingly packed when we arrived around 9pm ish – definitely wasn't expecting it to be as crowded as it was. The crowd was in their 20s and 30s, and seemed to be there for the same reason we were – chill vibes and decent priced drinks. The drink selection is pretty diverse. I didn't try any cocktails, just stuck with my Sam Adams Octoberfest substitute (they ran out of the authentic brew that night, bummer). The bartender with the big curly hair was attentive and friendly. She made sure our drinks were flowing and kept our shots going.
Hit up Grill on the Hill for the next big game. I'll definitely be back to try the small bites.
