  1. The staff is sometimes rude and sometimes nice, depending on who you get. The tzaziki sauce is alright – a bit too much of a greasy mayo-ey feel than it should be, although it does taste good. The price is fair for the quality of the food. The food is always hot and fresh. The pita bread has a sweet taste – most likely due to the sugar added as an ingredient by the factory that produced it (clearly factory pita and just microwaved). The portions are on the small side, but the chicken is extremely tasty. I get the shawarma (they call it something else) plate with the tzaziki and the cabbage. The cabbage is on the bland side but is the only non-carb side they make available other than fries or rice. They serve fast. I will return as it's quick, convenient and tasty, so I will deal with their staff and small portions. The inside is cafeteria style where you get your own tray and sit wherever. Usually has a small amount of mostly tourists on the weekends & I would imagine they cater to the white-collar crowd of FiDi on the weekdays. I recommend for a quick bite of healthy food

  2. Growing up in Chicago surrounded by endless Greek restaurants my expectation of the food might have been a bit too high. The place was packed with people but the service line moved  quickly. Food was ready in under 10 minutes and tasted fresh and hot. The food counter is visibly exposed,so I trusted the food was made fresh and not preheated from pre-made containers. ( Very common amongst fast food Greek diners)

The menu offers various combination plates that you can custom order.

The Yeero plate was a combination of marinated seasoned meat (chicken or beef), served with brown rice, tomatoes, onions, and tzatziki sauce. The meat was good but nothing worth raving about. The tzatziki sauce was thick and had a very dense concentration to it that was nothing like that one I am use to ordering. The salad was overly dry and plain and the plate would have paired better with a greek salad option.

Two plates and bottled water cost roughly $24 dollars. Not impressed.

  3. Place looked nice walked in on our first day in NY. Was very crazy and hectic inside all the tables were full so we waited Till one was empty.

I ordered a bowl of brown rice grilled chicken with salad and gyro sauce. The food wasn't that bad it was just ok. I guess I had higher expectations since the inside looked so nice and it was so packed.

  4. We went here with two gluten free ladies and one vegan. Everything here was perfect for my whole group. We had plans for one location around the area, walked in and then out. I wasn't a fan of the atmosphere. We then tried Mexican food which is lots of options, but then realized it was closed. After a whole day of walking, hiking, and carrying lots and lots of bags we finally found a spot we all could enjoy, relax, and hang out.

The food was great. The chicken was flavorful and delicious. I got french fries which were a great pair. I got a salad with a great tasty greek yogurt with lemon and cucumber flavors. I was a huge fan. I would safely stick with the platter. Delicious 🙂

    Happy New Year Everyone…

  5. Came here for a quick lunch break. It's a little pricey for what you get. About $11 for a handful of meat, a spoonful of sauce, about 3 triangles of pita and a few forkfuls of slaw. Honestly though if you're dieting there aren't really better options around so this place was exactly what I was looking for. The restaurant is clean and the service was fast also the bathroom were very clean. Overall this place was good and I'd come back.

  6. I pre-ordered delivery yesterday for today but the delivery guy showed up yesterday so I had to send him back. Despite the rough start, today my food showed up on time in their cute packaging. I ordered lentil salad with feta, side of 2 different kinds of tzatziki and greek yogurt with honey and walnuts. I got 2 different kinds of tzatziki because (1) a review here said the lentil salad was flavorless, (2) GRK seems to pride itself in its tzatzikis and (3) the company is paying for it. I actually weren't a big fan of either, because they tasted more like herbed mayo to me due to how thick they were. I wasn't a huge fan of the pita either. It was too dry and tough.
The lentil salad was delicious though. I really didn't mind that it was light in flavor, because the vegetables and olive oil were fresh enough that nothing heavy was needed. I also cannot stress how tasty the cretan rusks are. Just try them and you would not go back to regular croutons. I do wish there were more feta, since I was charged extra for it. The greek yogurt was really tasty. They really didn't skimp on the portion of toppings.

  7. I enjoyed my beef and lamb "yeero" with whole wheat pita, basil tzatziki, and fries. The beef was cooked perfectly and was tender and juicy. And the food arrived astonishingly quickly. This place really moves quickly! I felt that this place offers a great deal for the money at lunch time, and delivers quality fast food. I am happy I work near this establishment, because I definitely will be back to sample additional items, and certainly I will try the frozen yogurt in the summertime.

Overall the food was exactly what you would expect for such a fast food establishment. I am giving this four stars because I was impressed that I received a relatively healthy and well balanced meal for a decent price and delivered to me at a fast speed.

Those complaining that the food is not authentic – it isn't. But I don't see the place as trying to be. It's fast food. And on that level, this place delivers.

  8. I got a lamb/beef gyro with the classic tzatziki sauce. It was very good! Tasted healthy actually for being a gyro. The restaurant itself was clean and modern looking and service was nice and friendly!
