There are many similarities between the stalls in this food court and those of the more popular New World Mall's food court, but Guchun Private Kitchen is a standout worth deviating from the norm for. The pancake strips are pieces of flour (think of a scallion pancake) shredded into noodle-like strips and stir-fried with meat and vegetables. My fave is the chicken pancake strips, and it only costs $5.75 for a heaping portion with a cup of soup. I bought a takeout order for my hubby, and he said, "I don't know what the heck this is, but it's freaking amazing!"
Yes my found love for noodles has return. Thanks to this place i tried an amazing large bowl of premium beef with hand pull noodles. I do mean it when i said its large! Of course i would have to put a $5 deposit so that i would have to return the bowl. The soup was delicious. Wish there were a few more pieces of beef but thats just my fat ass wanting more! Everything tasted homemade. Will come back to try more!
I got the cumin lamb pancake strips. It came in a fairly decent portion with a free soup on the side. Overall, it was good but not exceptional. The lamb was thinly cut and tender but not as gamey as I would like, and the cumin sauce was not salty enough and a bit too sour. Still, a good variety of vegetables and meat and it's very filling.
