“Also try the Halibut, steamers, and lump crab meat.”
“It's not exactly cheap, but where can you find a cheap lobster or other seafood in Westchester.”
“The only downside is that the typical crowd is a bit old but that is because people have been recommending Gus's for decades.”

Went for the 1st time 2nite and I had mixed feelings. Ordered the raw bar sampler, fish and chips, steamers w. broth and butter, sesame crusted tuna and mussels in a white wine garlic sauce. Seemed like a lot of food but somehow I was the lucky one where they ran out of steamers and tuna??? Really? Monday night @ 6:30….Ran out @ the beginning of dinner service. In terms of food, one can't screw up the raw bar sampler, its whether the seafood is fresh or not. It was ok, not the freshest, but fresh enough. For the fish and chips, def the biggest disappointment. Fish was not as crispy as anticipated and absolutely no flavor….guess I was supposed to rely solely on malt vinegar. At least there was no fishy smell. As for the tartar sauce, I agree w. the last review that it was homemade but to say they need to bottle and sell is kind of over the top. It was not that good. Best item of the night was the mussels w. white wine garlic. perfectly cooked mussels and the sauce was very flavorful. Service was good and the overall staff was quite attentive.
