  1. We recently hosted a lunch here. Most of the servers here were nice except a for one of my friends overheard the manager telling the servers to "go ahead and take their cards". It made people uncomfortable especially for those who were ready to have an after party in the already vacant bar downstairs. At that point, everyone was just ready to go. From what I heard, The food was pretty good, but unfortunately, I just drank.

  2. Nice place to grab a drink or enjoy some delicious food!   Ample parking in the back makes things just a bit easier.  Also, they have nights when live music plays and the sold guitar player does wonders to the mood.  Lots of nice size TV's everywhere for that game!
Love the mussels which are cooked wonderfully, wings and prosciutto & arugula pizza is out of this world!  If you are in the area, this place is a must try!

  3. GW Grill is a restaurant on the top floor and a bar on the bottom floor. There's parking in the back and metered street parking at the front. The bar isn't that huge, but considering that it's separated from the restaurant, it's spacious enough for my liking. They need to chill on the A/C or fan that's above the bar area, because I left with bloody red eyes – dried to a pulp.
I tried appetizers here before, none of which were impressive enough to mention, but it's not bad either. It's refreshing to see a bar like this in our area. We generally have the Korean bars, where they don't have bartenders who make drinks (and your only choices are really just soju and beer), so it's hard to find a place that makes good drinks.
The crowd on a Saturday night was generally 50s and up. I think my grandpa would enjoy this place. It's not all that hip, so don't expect to find great music or a younger/rowdy crowd. You can also actually HEAR the person next to you, which is great. They have TV screens everywhere – huge plus for the sports fan and the loners who come here for a drink.

  4. I would give this place a 3.5. They have parking the back which is a nice added bonus to the location. Its right near the entrance to the GWB. Service was extremely friendly. Our waiter was very attentive. I ordered the calamari pizza. It was pretty good. Very filling! My friend got penne with chicken, and she also enjoyed it. I wouldnt say it was anything memorable, but it was good.
The set up of the restaurant was also very nice.
The waiter even warmed up some water for my friend so she can warm up her baby's bottle. He did it without a problem.

  5. I came here on a Saturday evening, and the place was dead. Considering that it's a pretty large place, I felt like I was the only one there other than a few people at the bar.

I had the Chicken Francese and it was good.

    Service was a little slow.

  6. Had the pizza and blackened chicken!  Always on the money, food is great!  They make really good pizzas!!  The mussels, sliders and the sundae were also great!

  7. Stopped by unexpectedly for a late lunch. Sat outside to enjoy the nice weather. And what a pleasant surprise!!! Everything from the friendly & accommodating waiter and service to the delicious, fresh food! I ordered the mussels for an appetizer which were juicy and seasoned perfectly with not only white wine and garlic, but fresh tomatoes and herb. There were dipping bread to go with the sauce from the mussels and it's probably the best bread ice ever tasted. (I'm still thinking about it hours later!!! It puts cheesy bread to shame)…. It's lightly toasted and lightly seasoned with oil and slightly cheesy… Amazing by itself and even more amazing with dipping… Then I ordered the Asian Pear Salad for my entree. Finger licking yumminess! Fresh, salty and sweet (cheese & pear/cranberry/walnut combo), light but filling, and generous portion! Will definitely come back again! Highly recommended!

  8. Cute sports pub in Fort Lee, which I have passed so many times on my way to 95/80.  Mercifully, there is a parking lot.  When I walked in, I saw dining tables on the upper level with two staircases to the bar area.  I didn't eat this evening but the food looked good.  Mariah, the bartender, was sweet and cordial and I saw her chatting with other people at the bar, making them feel comfortable.  My drink of choice is simple, vodka and soda tall, but well made.  There are 8 TV screens in the bar area so I will return to watch a game in the future.  I hear there is live entertainment on the weekends.
