I am a total fan. I am addicted. My family comes from out of town, and this spot is the "go to" for fresh chicken and lamb. I only get the gyro platter, mixed (chicken and lamb) or chicken only, side salad and a drink. Best prices ever. You can get one meal (eat two times) and a drink for less than 7 bucks. Clean. Nice staff. Yummy fresh meat.
I ate here before and after an organ recital nearby. After a very long day of work and a long subway ride here, Chicken & Lamb with Lettuce & Tomatoes & Pepperoncini & Onions and White Sauce really hit the spot. Then after a great concert and before a long subway ride home, Falafel & Pita with Chickpeas & Cucumbers and Green Sauce was just what I needed. Nothing was exceptional, but also nothing was horrible. A-OK.
I went here on a whim as I was hungry and looking for a cheap lunch. A lamb gyro for 4$ with a soda(or a water), you can't beat that. The staff was extremely friendly and the food tasted really good. A huge plus is that you can pile as much veggies etc. on your pita as you want! this made it a pretty large meal for me and tasted sooo good. Like a quite healthy and luxury version of the foodcart lamb gyro. I will definitely return the next time I'm hungry in this area.
