For now it is ok. Stopped by after seeing it open for about a week. I was checking out the rotisserie chicken. So that's what I ordered.
Rotisserie Chicken = good Cucumber Salad – decent Vinagrette Salad = v good (fresh basil) They don't season the chicken, so you have to add some s&p. This seems like a Hala joint, so they only have lamb gyros or beef gyros. Half a chicken with rice or french fries and salad is $5.99 . So the prices are decent. And I have to standby to make a better judgment on how good the food really is.
I've seen this place go through many changes. They have rename and renovated this restaurant a few times, but they always serve halal food. Before halal carts become popular in the Bay Ridge area, I use to come here to get the gyros. No matter what they did to the restaurant, I kept coming here because it was conveniently located for me and I wanted a quick bite. I don't know why I kept coming back. The meat they used in the gyros were always dry. I use to tell them, put extra white sauce on my gyro just to make it taste good. Probably won't every step foot in that restaurant every again. Good thing for halal carts.
