The food here is great. The service was perfect. The interior of the restaurant is clean, but basic. I ordered the Gyro Sandwich and a Chicken Souvlaki Sandwich.
The gyro tasted great, and the portions were very generous. In fact, once I opened it I was sort of intimidated. I wasn't sure where to start eating, that was a first for me. Haha. Once the food was in my tummy, it hit me that it was gyro meat. However, I guess that comes with the territory of eating gyro meat. You can't eat it, without thinking exactly what it is that you're digesting.
The chicken sandwich, however, did not give me that same feeling. It looked like pure chicken, and didn't give me that queasy feeling.
Overall, if you're in the mood for a great tasting gyro, or souvlaki, stop by this place.
Great local spot for lunch.
Most of the time our office orders from here in Lynbrook, and they usually take 30-45 minutes which is great. The salads are delicious and all of their greek meals are superb. The baklava is amazing. You really can't go wrong with the lunch specials for $10 that include a soup or salad plus a starch like lemon potatoes, rice pilaf, or french fries.
