If there is any ice cream in Flushing that really needs a Lactaid pill before you eat, it's Haagen Dazs. Rich, creamy, chocolatey nutty goodness is probably an understatement for their Rocky Road. If you're a Haagen Dazs fan that lives in Flushing, this place is a paradise.
Besides the wonderful ice cream selection here, this Haagen Dazs shop also carries specialty cake and there are deals every day of the week! (Fridays are $5 off cakes day). The sales specialist is quite knowledgeable on what cakes are popular and how much they can feed, but they might come off as pushy though.. They can speak Mandarin, Cantonese, and English (Although the sales guy approached with non-stop Mandarin, maybe I look like I speak it).
What's not to love about Haagen Dazs' ice cream?! You can have it any time of the day and any day of the four seasons.

Bought an ice cream cake for a friend's birthday. Salesperson was very helpful. Cake was both presentable and very tasty! Highly recommend Haagen Dazs ice cream cakes. So worth the price! This location has more variety in ice cream cakes than the other locations I've been to, such as Chinatown. I saw a Hello Kitty and SpongeBob! =)

Great place to go on a hot summer day. The green tea ice cream at this place is my favorite, however, it appears that they don't always have it. So if you're a green tea ice cream fan, definitely try it here, because it is comparable to Asian green tea ice cream brands. The green tea ice cream comes in a ice cream container, so you can easily take it to go.
This shop is located inside New World Mall. It is small with very limited seating. Its not a good place to enjoy ice cream with friends. It is noisy since it is an open area. Lots of ice cream choices except the flavors that only exist in pints like the green tea ice cream. Price is decent and like any typical ice cream shop pricing. It is the closes haagen daz ice cream shop but not the only ice cream shop in town. I do like their waffle cone with any ice cream flavors and their milkshakes.
My family and I have been coming here to order customized ice cream cakes for about the past two years. The prices here are great compared to places like Coldstone (which I'm not a fan of anyway) and they have a great selection of flavors. My favorite flavors are green tea and vanilla Swiss almond. Yum yum. I can never stop with just one slice of cake! We usually give Eric an image of what cartoon we like and he does such an excellent job. I really think he takes pride in his work. Will definitely continue to return.
