  1. Alright, I am boosting my original rating for a few reasons:

    1) The DJs on Friday (1/15) were GREAT. I don't know what changed, but I was a big fan. The music really fit the ambiance well.

    2) SUSHI. Go for the sushi. I mentioned in a previous review that I didn't like the food, but this past time, I got one of the unique sushi rolls, and they were tasty. Go for the Bullet (shrimp tempura roll topped with avocado, spicy garlic chili) or Fire Vong (crab meat, yellowtail, cucumber and basil topped with seared salmon).

    3) Service was still a little spotty, but overall better than before.

  2. This place is a bit on the loud side… it reminds me of Planet Thailand back when it was the only place near Bedford and uber cool still.

The food is decent, I had Malay Mei Fun which they have a veggie version of, plus veg dumplings and sea salad.  Food was a solid 3 stars, tasty enough, but not over the top.

This is asian fusion so if you're not into that, people – skip.  However if you like an East wburg vibe, wanna explore Grand Street, and so forth, check this place out.  You'll have fun.

  3. This place was so delicious. The staff was friendly. The service was quick and the drinks were a great price! We also got the massaman curry. The chicken was ok but the overall taste was absolutely delicious. We als got the scallion pancakes (2 orders cause hey we're so tasty.) my favorite sushi was the bullet roll. I would recommend that. Lots of flavor and filling. For dessert we had the fried banana. Next time I would just get ice cream. It wa series having a spring roll banana. Over obsessed with this place. Can't Wait to come back

  4. 4 stars for late night happy hour at the bar!

Three items for 9.95 and drink specials too. Rob makes amazing drinks – get a mojito mmmm.

They have a very full bar and their apps are pretty good. Awesome for your quick nights out around the neighborhood or as a starting point for a Grand Street crawl.

  5. Had a lot of fun dining here with a friend during Dine in Brooklyn 2011 (a Restaurant Week sort of deal).  The appetizers were flavorful, the sushi rolls interesting and delicious, the curry hearty but a bit too mild.

The place is quite a bit cheaper than I would have expected from the lighting.  The selection of music is bizarre, and the bathroom decor is trippy (which sounded like an odd description, but see for yourself).

Service was pretty good, too.  I'd happily eat there again.

  6. Always delivered on time! I really like Hachi because I think that they are pretty generous with the fish in their maki which is the most important thing. I never ate there. I just got the delivery and I like to order there because they are very quick! I tried many places around the graham station and I even one place very close to my home but no one beats Hachi! Food is fresh ( rice is sometimes warm, which I don't mind) and deliver is fast. Perfect!

  7. I happened by this place when looking for a bar to have a midday drink with friends. We had just eaten so we didn't try the eats but the service was awesome. Granted there was about 6ppl in the place at 4pm but beers were cold, mimosa was refreshing and the atmosphere was visually stimulating. They have a lot of interesting design details throughout so it's fun to look around and appreciate it.

I wouldn't hesitate coming again midday or for drinks but maybe next time I'll check out the menu.

  8. Generally wouldn't give a good review to a place that doesn't accept credit cards, but this restaurant is consistently delicious while remaining very inexpensive. Nothing on the menu is particularly inventive. However, the ingredients are fresh and there is a large variety of popular sushi rolls and apps. Their delivery is super-quick.
