I have been to this cart about 50 times as I live very close by. It is MUCH better than Rafiqi's (north side of the square) that seems to get more press. I only ever get Chicken over Rice, so I will talk about that a bit here.
The chicken is amazing. I was told that the owner of this cart is the same owner of the famous 53rd and 6th ave cart, and I believe it too. The chicken has never been anything less than tender, flavorful, fresh and plentiful. It is perfectly spiced and plays off the white sauce and hot sauce at the end, and compliments the rice below.
It takes about 3-5 minutes to prepare a chicken over rice from here, and it's a flat $5. I just don't see how Wendy's, Taco Bell and the other fast food restaurants in this area survive when you can get street food this good, this large, and this cheap.
