My other go to restaurant during off hours!!!! Abundance in parking during the middle of the night!!
I love coming here and getting sulungtang or kalgooksoo when I'm sick and I'm off grocery shopping. They have corn dogs (idk why I loved their corn dog so much though) and the kimbab isn't bad. Not a fan of their dukbokki but it'll do…
The banchan (side dishes) that comes with the sulungtang is amazing! It doesn't take them long to get you your food either.. Great drunk food too!

What a cozy, charming little restaurant! Not only are the owners extremely generous (each and every time we asked what something was, they gave us a free sample), but the fresh and delicious food was incredibly cheap (4 large portions for $20!), and also the female manager (proprietress?) was surprisingly helpful and friendly and personable — at one point she started singing her favorite parts from Beethoven's 5th ("Emperor") piano concerto.
I've always knew of this place because of shopping at the Han yang super market. It is truly a hidden jewel. The food an atmosphere here is very homely. I am totally in love with their hand cut noodles which has a nice chewy texture. Their korean fried hotdog is also a must try. It's basically a fried corn dog but not as soft. The dumplings are shaped very cute and are tasty. It's a nice place to eat if you want Korean soup based food or comfort food. They also make their own kimchi almond pickled radish strips. This place is definately a cheap eats place with great food.
Yes, the kal sujaebi is not very photogenic due to the micro-bead looking black sesame particles. However, my mom LOVES it.
It might possibly be one of her favorite things to eat outdoors. It is simple and a very traditional Korean food.
Got this for my mom when she got sick and lost all appetite, it actually showed improvement as soon as she finished! Haha it is amazing.
However, personally I am NOT a fan of this, I have tried other foods and it was good. Kind of surprising to find well-made food in a sideshop of supermarket!
Run by adults/elderly cooks so it has a sense of original cooking instead of the "lets just add MSG and it'll taste good method"
Cheap hole-in-the-wall Korean restaurant behind the supermarket. It's a bit small so try not to bring too many people here. Also bring a Korean friend with you to read the menus on the wall because I feel like i'm missing out on their bomb selections cause I can't read it….
Their corndogs are my go-to snack here, hot, crispy, and served fresh. They offer other great things here such as deep fried dumplings (mandoo), dukbokki which is a spice rice cake kind of dish, ramen and different types of soups. All-in-all great comfort food.
Love this place. Great cheap food that is delicious and most items made to order. They have a selection of fried foods which are all refried once you order, so it's served hot and crispy. They have dukbokki and a ton of other korean foods.
Definitely street vendor style as some other reviewers mentioned, but much cleaner than you're probably imagining. Food was good and came out super quick. If you're looking for a quick bite, this is the place to go.

This place is a place that definitely deserves more attention than it gets. ( although the late night korean drinking crowd certainly knows of this place ) tucked away in the corner of the entrance of Hangyang super market, this place offers a wide variety of quality street foods at twilight hours.
I've been here twice and so have had the spicy chicken gizzard, fermented skate with horse radish, and the sauteed spicy pork.
The gizard was average if not mediocre, but the other two dishes I had were definitely noteworthy
The fermented skate with horseradish is definitely on the list of the more bizarre and interesting foods I've ever had. Though the smell of amoena wafted around my nose and was pretty hard to bare at times, the flavor combination with the fish the horseradish and soysauce worked all in compliments of one another! the horseradish did a fantastic job of overpowering and overtaking the bizarre fermented smell, which then allowed the taste buds to focus on the incredibly savory and umami filled flavor of the fish, clean and full of flavor I would definitely recommend this dish for the more adventerous eater
The spicy pork, which is something that I get regularly at all fast casual korean eateries that I go to. This place has one of the best versions I've ever had. Intensely spicy ( which I love ) with a great combination of savory, sweet mixed in with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and carmalized onions and jullianed carrots, the combinations of flavors were incredible and tasted incredible intense with no one flavor overpowering the other with the subtle hint of sesame to wrap all the flavors together, definitely a must when you're here.
the only reason why this place gets a knock off of a star was due to the soapy tasting complimentary soup I received the last time I was here. It DEFINITELY churned my stomach a bit and made me wonder about the sanitary conditions here……if you're not washing out the bowls properly I wonder what other sanitary measures they're skimping out on…..
anyway great place to go to for quality late night eats!
