I almost don't want to write this review because it's a small restaurant and with the quality of its food should have a line out the door.
Sushi is prepared authentically by a Japanese chef. The flavors and freshness of the fish is unreal. One of the best I have ever tasted and can compete with some NYC sushi places. They offer omakase with 3 different options at $40, $75 and $100. We ordered off the a la carte menu (sushi/sashimi deluxe combo $28) and it was amazing. I can only imagine how their omakase would be.
Service was on point and eager to please. Byob so bring the wine, beer, sake, soju.
I will be back many more times. Omakase and BBQ are next to try.
Idk why it's always so hard for my husband and i to decide where to eat on the weekend but we came across this small location through the one and only Yelp
The restaurant is right off a Main Street in Leonia and it is SMALL. This place probably fits 30 people max with a few seats at the sushi bar.
Our staff seemed friendly although sitting at the bar watching one guy make sushi while another watched was a little odd…
Anyway there really isn't much to say about this place. The sushi surprisingly was fairly fresh. Would I come back? Probably not….but this would definitely fix your sushi craving if you live in the area.
