  1. My Friend ordered from this place and I had a couple of bites. The food is definitely passable. She had hibachi noodles with a chicken entree. The entree was somewhat bland and the noodles were not that good.

If you are craving Americanized Chinese food go to Panda Express or maybe Sarku. Skip this place!

  2. Meh! Not sure why its called Hawaiian Grill, aside from the pineapples in the general tso's chicken. I was hoping to discover some freshly prepared food, with a resemblance of being grilled and healthy, but all I found was the ugly child of Panda Express and Sarku. I had the pineapple chicken, which was just deep fried chicken breading with pineapple, veggies (which were not good; honestly how hard is it to steam veggies?!), and the lo mein which wasn't all that bad.

Save yourself the trip and go to Panda Express or get some chicken teriyaki at Sarku.

  3. Update – they have the cheapest side of white rice ($1.19) and their teriyaki chicken had a lot of chicken. The noodles, alas, still lacked flavor, but they were certainly trying harder to get customers.

  4. I thought I wrote a review of the spicy noodle soup a few years ago, but maybe not. There's nothing inherently Hawaiian here.

Today I got the $6.29 special. While the sides of mixed vegetables and string beans were pretty good, the salt-and-pepper pork chop suffered from being lukewarm.
