Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet
“Of course, you can't expect the unlimited shrimp and snow crab legs that you see at more expensive places, but it's a pretty good place to go for a full meal.”
“it's really a 3.5 but the .5 boost is for the cheap price.”
“Overall the food selection is great, the restaurant is spacious, and dining is highly affordable.”

I went to this place over the weekend and I'm still alive so I guess their food is clean enough. We were a party of five and had an hour wait – it was a Sunday night too!
This place is CROWDED. There's so many people that you can barely even get to the hostess to put your name down for a table.
Once you're seated, the best thing to do is send one representative to the hibachi grill cause that line can be a good 30 minute wait. It depends on how much food you get. The boyfriend had like 6 steaks for our entire table so his steaks came out just right. Boyfriend's dad had 1 and his was burnt cause the chef forgot about his steak cause he was flipping other people's food.
The sushi bar is seriously understaffed. There are only ever like 3-4 rolls out of the entire 10+ roll space filled up. The rice is a bit hard too. Their Philly rolls are decent though.
Their food selection is also decent. I was full. There was some highlights – the mayo shrimp, curly fries, mac & cheese, and sugar doughnuts were all very good.
My only issue was the fact that despite the signs that say no kids under 10 near food without supervision, it wasn't enforced. There were little kids running around the entire buffet area and while waiting, I saw a little kid poke the jello and grapes with his fingers and then not take it.
All in all, for $10, it's a pretty good deal. You get what you do for the price you pay.
Came with my family yesterday night and we all walked out with happy tummies and wallets. Can't say that the food here is amazing but for $12 bucks a head and $3-$5 for children, it was so worth it. The sushi selection was decent and they had a pretty wide range of other hot food choices, including seafood, which is rare for a buffet that charges as little as this one. We all ended our meals with ice cream and was extremely satisfied. Will definitely return when I'm in Staten Island again.
I am warning you, DO NOT GO HERE!!! The food is greasy, bland, and they put a ton of melted american cheese on many things just to make it look appetizing.
I brought my parents here the weekend before Valentine's Day and it was packed. My parents went before and they said it was good, so I figure I bring them back. It was a HUGE mistake to go there.
There was a long line to get your food cooked on the hibachi, it looked like people were on that line for less then an hour – not worth it. The food were constantly coming out, but the quality of the food was HORRIBLE. Where do I start with this mediocre food:
– they brought out cheesy bread and it was saturated in cheese that it made the bread so soggy and salty to eat.
– there was prime rib, but it was cut so big that it was unappetizing, bland, overcooked.
– there is no crab legs, oyster (but it sits there, don't eat it especially it's been sitting under the food warmer) and minimal seafood selection, except for the sushi.
– there was sushi, first of all there should NEVER be sushi in a chinese buffet. 2nd, the sushi had too much rice on it
– I saw about 4 trays of premade sweet and sour chicken that was sitting on the food cart waiting to come out. What I am saying that it's sitting there waiting to be put out for people to eat, that's unsanitary.
– so many flies around there the hibachi station.
I lost my appetite 5 minutes after surveying the place and I wanted to take my parents out of this hell hole restaurant. I told my parents NEVER EVER to come back to this buffet. I pointed out everything that was so wrong with this place. I am not a food critique, but I am a foodie person and I've been to many restaurants and buffets in my life and this buffet needs to be SHUTDOWN, ASAP.
If we were allowed to give halves, I would give this place a half star. The one star was being to nice. Never have I written anything so bad on yelp, till this review…..MEDIOCRE & UNSANITARY.
This place gets two stars… I didn't like the eating area the food and defiantly the bathroom… Ok so the area when I was siting on my seat it felt sticky and cramped…the way the tables are position is weird to me for some reason didn't feel comfy at all.. The food is the blah there's not much to brag about since some of the foods are drenched with oil or dry as hell … Nothing special the sushi is so so not terrible …the hibachi was !!! Sooo salty and over cooked I didn't like it at all and the ling for hibachi is extremely long so I suggest don't even bother waiting…ughhh so of cores being at a restaurant eating and drinking u have to go to the bathroom in looks so dirty water over flowing and crap everywhere it was disgusting !!! Ughhh I think I just made myself throw up alittile talking about this…to eat here cost around 11 or 10 bucks that's y I gave it two stars because of the price other then that I think I rather go to a buffet that cost 30/40 bucks then come back to this place again not worth it at all…
The price of $10 is definitely worth it for the buffet. They have a good selection of food, from fried to sushi to seafood to chinese to dessert. Their melon however are not fresh (well not today anyways).
The service isn't bad either, the waiter would take your plate every now and then and offer refills.
I came here to have lunch with my second family. I wasn't expecting to come here so I was kind of nervous if they had any vegan food for this veganite! It was a Sunday Afternoon and boy did it felt like half of Staten Island was in this place. The place is huge and could easily sit at least 75 people. After they sit us down and I ran to the buffet tables. The fruit table OMG! kiwis, strawberries, grapes, honey dew melons OH MIND! Yes I love fruits!
I am a health freak vegan so I try to stay away from fried things. But I could resist those sweet plantains and French fries. My favorite item is the sautéed bok Choy. I wanted some broccoli but it was mix with chicken :-(.
For the non-vegans and vegetarians
A great selection for you guys! From seafood to hibachi! As I mentioned before the buffet tables are huge and their are a lot of selections. My friend said that their spinach with cheese was on point!
I personally wouldn't come back. I'm not into the buffet thing and crowds hawking and crowding at the food. Their were times that I almost dropped my plate because their are kids running around the buffet tables. NO BUENO
Tips and recommendations!
1. If you check in…you will get an offer for 1.50 off on a lunch buffet.
2. Parking. Their is plenty of parking because this place is located in a plaza.
3. Public Transportation. The s48 runs through the establishment. So the s57 passes thru here as well. But its a 2 minute walk.
4. Not a place for dates. Please don't do it to yourself. Unless you don't want to see that person again. This place is for couples that has been together for more than 5 years and don't mind the chill environment.
5. Enjoy!
