  1. The hostess needs to learn how to be a hostess. Came in on Saturday for brunch with two of my friends. I arrived first and was told that she could not seat me until everyone in the party has arrived. All the while, the place was empty with only two parties dining at the time. She could have asked me to wait at the bar, which probably would have been the smarter choice. When everyone arrived, she walks us to the back to a table that seats two and drags an additional chair over so it can accommodate the three of us. The table was very small and would not have been comfortable. I asked if we could put two of the square tables in the back together and was told no. I asked if we could sit in the corner booth and she said there would be a wait to have the booth set up. Not sure what she was talking about since the place settings were already there. I then asked if we could sit in the front table since it was a table for 4 and she basically looked at me like I was crazy for even asking. WHAT THE HECK IS THIS CHICK'S PROBLEM?! It was the worst experience ever and we haven't even been seated yet. Thankfully she was the only bad part of this whole dining experience. Our waitress was super friendly, food was good. While we were eating, I kept noticing the hostess looking over at my table and talking to other employees about us. Was there something wrong with me and my friends?!?!

Let's move on from this horrible horrible hostess. We ordered 4 brunch items to share and added the bottomless brunch option. The drinks were not strong at all so I'm not sure if it was really worth it. Basically felt like I was drinking orange juice all morning instead of mimosas and bellinis. The lobster club and lobster eggs benedict was delicious and they put plenty of lobster on there. mac and cheese was very cheesy and had a layer of congealed cheese on top. The nutella waffles were really good, not super sweet like we expected. They played Britney Spears the whole time we were there, which was great! Would not come back if the same hostess is working there.

  2. One of the best brunches I have ever had…and I have brunched all over the country. Not too saddity, not too low-brow. The service was spectacular. They were attentive but not overbearing. Music was good…a little loud, but we were sitting right in front of the speaker. Fluffiest eggs ever. Great for groups. If you are looking for snooty, go somewhere else. If you want diner prices, not gonna happen. But if you want great energy, great food and endless beverage…you're home.

  3. Fun exciting brunch deals and meals.

By exciting I mean there will be a drag show and they will call out people from their tables and make them twerk. You can say no, but drag queen will give you some sass!

The food is good, except the HK Eggs Benedict, the blue cheese hollandaise is very bland and for the first time ever, and I only order Eggs Benedict for any brunch I go to, I did not finish my eggs.

That explains my star rating, but everyone else I was with really enjoyed their food and show.

  4. We had brunch here on a Sunday morning and the food was good! I ordered the Greek salad with grape leaves and it was a big portion. My friends enjoyed their food as well. We really came by for the Drag show, but unfortunately this was a bust. The queens came out and performed for about 8min tops. The host was funny and tried to entertain table to table on the mic, but it seemed like she wasn't into it. After two songs, they ended the show. Not impressive. Anyway, at least the food was good and our waitress refilled our bottomless mimosas non-stop!!

  5. Checked this place out for lunch since it was near the Port Authority. Food was excellent but watch out for hidden fees. I ordered poached eggs, bacon lardons and frissee salad. Apparently Jake our waiter added an order of bacon for $4.50 without asking. I ordered poached eggs with the bacon lardons. Apparently he took that to mean  extra order of bacon. The lardons were MIA from the dish. We also ordered a turkey burger with some extras that brought the price up to $23.00 for a turkey burger. Perhaps if they lowered the music the waiter could hear our orders and not embellish the ticket. I guess Jake thought we were tourists.

In addition they take cash only (any auditors reading this?). For a bill over $100 that sucks!

    Will not return.

  6. So far I'm a pretty big fan of this place. I came here for lunch twice. On a nice day they open the full wall windows and it's just lovely. I tried the grilled chicken club and Asian chicken salad. I enjoyed both very much. All their menu items look delicious so I can't wait to try other items.

They have a great happy hour too! All drinks are half price. The martinis are nice & strong! Try the white cosmo – very good.

    Can't wait to come back!

  7. Food: 5/5
    Service: 1/5
Policy of cash only for brunch, written in tiny letters at the bottom? 0/5 Not cool!
    Environment: 5/5

It's a shame that such an awesome place (spacious, very beautifully designed) has such bad service.

Took about 20 min to get an order in… and once the food came out, we didn't have utensils. After having our delicious Benedict breakfast with salmon, and a delicious omelet, we ordered a waffle. Our utensils were taken (again) and we had to wait for new ones.

Drinks? We had the unlimited option… but what is that worth when the waiter to refill them never comes by?

Bathrooms: out of toilet paper… and no one was around to say that too. (had to tell the bartender)

Worst of all? Cash only for brunch… How unfortunate! No one told us, and it's in tiny writing… they do have an ATM in the basement.. but considering this is right by the bus terminals… a lot of ppl are out of state. I'd rather not have to pay fees to get cash out because im out of state.

    Overall– not coming back.

  8. Ordered a few appetizers and drinks and its okay.  The service was good.  The price…well it's pricey like all other place in nyc.  The place was small with just a few tables but with good company, good memories 😉
