Ho’Brah taco joint
“What I would suggest to order here are the Baja Street Corn, Empanadas, Sunset Pork, and the Classic Cali.”
“When we walked in, there was another table of young guys drinking Coronitas and frozen margaritas (!)”
“What is inadequate is a wait which can be an hour or two wait but what the heck they have bulldogs.”

this place is packed on weekends! I came for dinner once and brunch one other time and preferred the brunch menu. i've had better tacos, but some of the items on their mexican brunch menu are AWESOME. Guac is solid and their drinks are pretty stiff as well. will be back!
I came here a few times for the tacos. It tasted good as usual. I did not like the fish taco. I think it lack flavor. The frites was good. I like that a lot. It was crispy. As for the drinks, it was strong. Just a little head up, the wait can be really long when you go there after 8pm. Definitely come here earlier if you can.
Came here with some friends for food and drinks! The bulldog is awesome!! Food is good here! Only downside is they are always packed so long wait! But def should go check it out!
Not a fan. So sorry. I want to love Ho'Brah's but the food is not impressive at all.
I had one good experience about 4 years ago and not again. I've been to Ho'Brah's for brunch and it was great. But then I dined for dinner a few times and find the food to taste very artificial especially the beef anything, it looks like chili and taste like YUCK. I've had their fish tacos, burritos etc not impressed. I guess if you want an interesting take on traditional tex-mex you should try it. Drinks are alright. The atmosphere is super chill. My sister loves this place but I don't think I will be back again. Staff is friendly. Seating is tight.
Go n get the quesadillas with sunset pork!!! It's the best quesadillas I had so far!
Came here yesterday afternoon with the hubs for the first time. I had the quesadilla with grilled chicken and grilled vegetables and ate the entire thing. I thought it was awesome and I might have to go back today for another one lol. Hubs had a few different tacos- cod (California classic), shrimp and beef and he really enjoyed the cod- so much so he ordered an additional one. He also ordered a margarita which he wasn't too impressed with and I had the lemonade, which basically tasted like kamakazi mix lol. So I would skip the lemonade and margaritas next time around and stick with the food- which was really, really good 🙂
Atmosphere: chill, comfortable, reclaimed wood without being pretentious.
Food: almost everything is gluten-free, and the menu is labeled to indicate so. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options as well. The corn tortillas are made in house (1 per taco). The tacos are huge- I had to eat the delicious fish taco with a fork and knife because it was too much filling for the taco, but I'm not complaining. The nachos are ok, nothing special. Although it is topped with a giant scoop of guacamole. Love that the burritos can come "naked, without the wrap, but it would be better served over lettuce rather than just in a bowl.
Didn't know these are the owners of Kettle Black and The Lock Yard. I can't wait to go back. The kicker- it's so affordable- $15 for dinner and a beer.
Great midnight snack since it opens til midnight. I tried most of their tacos since the price was pretty cheap. Their guac and chips were yummy! Definitely would recommend this place. Wait during weekends might be long because it's pretty packed. It's usually fast during weekdays!
