  1. What an interesting place.   Part home store, part restaurant.  I had Mediterranean Eggs Benedict ….hummus, poached eggs, salad and mediterranean spices.  Delicious.  Definitely will return.  And the chef came out to say hi!!

  2. Certainly a hidden gem of BR! From the outside, you would think it's just a boutique shop but who knew you can have brunch here as well!  The brunch menu is a modern twist of the traditional American breakfast style. I had the orange marmalade French toast which was delicious. It's a little heavier than the traditional French toast but I like that they are fluffy, not soggy. Coffee is decent as well but I wish they served in larger cups. The service is wonderful and the guys who run this place are super friendly. It's a great venue to throw a small bridal or baby shower. After you eat, you can peruse their gift shop for unique items like candles, cups and saucers, jewelry, etc.

  3. Came here with a Groupon for brunch for two (one entree and a sangria each for $20 – you just have to cover tax which came out to $4 for us). (Normally $13 for the brunch menu and $10 for a glass of sangria, white or red.)

Shared the Red Velvet pancakes with cream cheese frosting and pecans and the BLT Eggs Benedict with Avocado. Both were decent, but not amazing. The eggs benedict is literally poached eggs with bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and hollandaise sauce with a side of whole wheat toast. The pancakes were slightly too cakey for my preference.

The storefront is adorable and all the staff members were helpful and not rude about our Groupon redemption. Overall, for the price, the food is worth it and the Groupon definitely helped.

Sangrias were good as well! The bread basket (full of mini muffins and pound cake) was probably my favorite part of the meal.

Probably wouldn't come back merely for how far it was, but I don't regret it!

  4. I'm really surprised at all the high ratings for this place.

Called in on a sunday morning to reserve a table. Staff members were super friendly and kind. As everyone else mentioned, the bread basket, delish!
But everything else was mediocre  at best, and a bit cheap tasting.

I ordered the chicken avocado salsa wrap without the chicken, I asked if they had beans to coup out the chicken, but they didn't. Here's how to easily amp up the salsa wrap, add beans!!
The wrap itself was very cheap, weak flour material. Cheese was shredded cheddar cheese that tasted artificial.
I was a bit disappointed with my meal because I could easily make this wrap at home and make it taste way better.

And for those who rave about the sangaria, its the Carlo Rossi Sangaria. I saw the staff pour Carlo Rossi sangaria into the serving cups with a few fruits added.

  5. It's definitely an interesting store-restaurant.

I love the decor, the pictures on the wall. The store has beautiful stuff. Inside part of the store is the dinning area. I'm wondering don't they worry the clothes stuff get food cooking smell?

For the restaurant, if u are a latte or cappuccino drinker like me, u will get disappointed. They only have fresh brewed coffee, will offer you milk and sugar if u need. As to the food, I had the buffalo chx burger with blue cheese. It's really disappointing… I'm not that picky about food, but I really didn't like that at all. The blue cheese I'd definitely the ranch blue cheese dressing. The worst thing is the chx. It's not chx breast or any whole piece of real chx meat. It's like ground chx, generally the taste was weird.

Our Waiter was nice and friendly. But u have to pay tips in cash. So prepare your money before going there.

Not going back for food anymore.

  6. Stumbled upon this place while visiting relatives in NYC.  What a great find!  Tiny place tucked into the back of a gift store, but soo nice!
I had the green eggs and ham and my cousin had the pumpkin garam marsala soup with grilled cheese.  I need to go back there!  So good and pricing was really good as well!

  7. Enjoyed father's day brunch at Hom. Mama and pop antique shop with a restaurant in the back. The true definition of a hole in the wall. Complimentary cheesecake in celebration of the day. Bread basket was delicious with assorted bread, muffin and jams. The waitress there was the mostly friendly and interactive I've ever met.

-Many flavored teas avaliable: From honey ginseng tea and raspberry tea to cold blueberry green tea.

-Eggs benedict: it was the nicest looking plate we ordered. You can taste and see how fresh the ingredients were.

-Lemon ricotta pancake: basically a lightly flavored lemon pancake with whipped cream and blueberries with a side of bacon. Nothing special about it.

-Maple french toasts: large piece of toast drizzled with maple butternut cream and a side of sausage. You can def taste the mapley goodness.

-Green eggs and ham: omelette loaded with veggies and ham on the side. My fav dish of them all because it was very tasty.

  8. It was a Saturday afternoon and my boyfriend and I decided to come here for brunch since we have bookmarked this place for a while now. Also, since it was pretty close to where I live.

The environment of this restaurant is really cozy. Don't get startle if you walk in and see antiques and a little shop in the front; it's normal, haha. They have sitting outside in the back and inside of the restaurant if you don't want to be seated outside. My boyfriend and I took a seat inside to enjoy the restaurant's ambiance.

We ordered a Green eggs and ham omelette, southern eggs benedict with sausage gravy, and I ordered a mimosa since I didn't have to drive. Hehehe 🙂 I was a little disappointed with the omelette because it really was not anything special. I have had better omelettes, although, this omelettes had a lot of ingredients inside. Since it had so many ingredients, I expected it to be amazing. Meh, I was not exactly right. I did enjoy it though, but like I said, I have had better ones.

The southern eggs benedict was delicious though! YUM! I would go back and order this again. Everything about it was so good. Haha. I especially loved it when the egg yolk was still runny! The biscuits was super soft and melted in your mouth. Ah, thinking about it makes me want some right now.

The mimosa wasn't the good either. I personally thought there was too much champagne in it. All I tasted was champagne, mind as well give me a glass of it instead. I have heard their sangria was good, so I definitely want to come back and try that as well.

The waiter was nice and friendly. As the matter of fact, everyone was super nice. (Yes, even the cooks in the back) They came out and asked how our food were and made sure we were having a great time.

Overall, it was not a bad experience. 3.5 – 4 Stars; the omelette could have pushed it to 4 stars, but I really wasn't satisfy.
