  1. Now that I have a little experience with some banh mi's, this place barely cuts it. They preheat their meat in the microwave no,no. And the sandwich is just similar to Thanh Da, but they use a frying pan for their meat. Compared to Ba Xuyen this place loses. I guess the sandwich is alright if it is all you can get. And for $2 less I can get a better sandwich someplace else. That two dollars could pay for my bubble tea at T Baar. I also had the lemon green tea here, it was eeh.

So if you are stuck in the slope, then you are stuck. Leave the neighborhood and you will find richer and cheaper banh mi's elsewhere.

  2. Not my favorite spot to grab a Vietnamese sandwich but perfectly acceptable. If you are right there and want to grab something go ahead. You wont be blown away and you wont be disappointed either. The bread they use is not the greatest and i think the sandwiches are a drop smaller than what i am used to. The inside is pretty ugly so i would suggest take out as the way to go.

  3. Once again Yelpers are spot on with the solid 3.5 stars.  Have walked by here for years but finally caved when it was too cold to walk to Hancos or Lotus.  This is no Hancos but at $6 for a giant bahn mi you certainly can't complain.  The 2 women who run the place are super sweet and certainly make you feel at home when dining in in this tiny restaurant (where you are squeezed in between their delivery moped).
We tried a pork and a shredded chicken bahn mi which as noted were huge (about 3 or 4 inches longer tha hancos) but a little light on the meat.  Nonetheless they were good and hit the spot. We also tried one of their seafood "crepes" which was pretty sweet but still tasty.
I will probably be back but only when I don't feel like making walk to hancos.

  4. Unsweetened black bubble tea, wonderful!  Noone ever asks if I want it unsweetend, but they do, so I love them.

Also, their pork Bahn Mi is delicious.  Great price, great food, but not quick, everything is made to order and made to order slow.  So just plan accordingly 🙂

  5. Yet another banh mi spot, on my quest to try them all.

Very nice sandwich, and skip the mayo.  I was satisfied, it tied me over while I workout at the rock gym!

  6. They may not be the best banh mi in Park Slope (I see you Hanco's and Henry's) but it's our nearby joint and they are so nice in there. I think a sandwich runs $6 or $7 and that's fine with me.

Customer service goes a long way!

  7. Hands down the best Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches I've ever had! The bubble tea is worth stopping in for too. I'm not sure about delivery, but it's always fast service when I go in. My mouth is watering just thinking about their classic banh bi.

  8. Great banh mi and bubble tea.   I really think this is my favorite one in brooklyn; this is partly due to the fact they are open at night—when I get a craving and the places on 8th Ave are long closed.  Also there is no occasional attitude like some of the other places … this is because of the location of course but I'm happier to do without it

The main lady is funny because she has most prices memorized, she has surprised me when I'm kinda burnt, when she's like 13.07 right after I order..the first two times I was like What???  Ohhhhh
