Hooters

“what's more alluring about this place is that they have a bar next door (Firewater) where they have 50+ beers on tap.”

“My friends living in Bergen County and I gave this restaurant a warm welcome when it opened in 2004.”

“I just wrote a review about the Hooters in Wayne and their Skimpy-ass Buffalo Wings (check it out).”

  1. Honestly my girls and I come after class almost once a week here to de-stress with some good wings and beer! I usually get the Blue Moon beer on draft, and we share a whole bunch of apps: buffalo shrimp and blue cheese, steamed shrimp with butter sauce, load tater tots, boneless chicken buffalo wings, and cheeseburger sliders! Yeah…….we can eat lol. My fav is the buffalo shrimp- hot. There's a wide range of how hot you like your buffalo sauce. It's a relaxing and super casual place for beer and appetizers. And the food is actually good. I've gone with my boyfriend and groups of friends before too and we took shots and had beers and joked around all night. Not here for the girls tho, sorry.

  2. The service here is super friendly. Food comes out pretty prompt. Our waitress definitely knew how to pour our beers properly so huge props for that.

The fried pickles were meh. The breading too thick.

The chipotle honey sauce was good but the "naked" wings still felt like they had something over them. I wanted some juicy chicken skin but it felt a little hard. Meh. A little on the  disappointing side.

You have to order 20+ wings to do more than one flavored sauce which was too much so stuck with one. Next time I want to try the spicy garlic.

  3. Yes I'm writing a review for hooters! Why? Because every restaurant deserves a review!

The boobs and wings are hot at this joint. I'm sorry to announce that the three mile island sauce has been discontinued at this hooters. I don't know if that means at every hooters…but believe me this almost made a grown man cry.

The wings were standard good and the service was excellent. The girls are very nice and nice to look at it. This hooters is pretty big and has a large parking lot. The entrance to the restaurant is right off of route 4 east. Can't miss it with the big sign.

  4. Hooters used to be about great wings and great looking waitresses. The wings are still great even though they nickel and dime you for every little thing. Blue cheese, ranch and now celery are extra.  The wings are also soaked in oil. It was kind of a mess. It's probably why the place is dead on a Friday night.

All of the waitresses look like they are twelve and its not good. Not one good looking girl at a hooters and that's coming from my wife.  So that's no bull.

Skip this place and try the one on rt17.

  5. Haven't been to this location in awhile but a great place for football Sundays.  I got fried pickles, split an order of wings and and chili fries with a friend and everything came out great.  Beer pitchers were pretty cheap as well and I would come back for any type of sporting event.

  6. WIngs here are good. They have an all you can eat special on Tuesdays.Watch out though, they charge extra for blue cheese/ranch and celery. But other than that, the food is pretty average. Their oysters are decent too. Pricing isn't bad but service here is really slow. They have cheap drinks too but I always feel like they taste funny.

I really only come here Tuesdays.

  7. This is the only Hooters that I've ever been to so I don't have much to compare it off of and it was not my idea to go here for our business lunch 🙂  I was a little surprised to see almost nobody else in there during lunch but it did not effect my lunch at all.  I only know that my buffalo chicken wrap was pretty plain and didn't have much chicken or tomato in it.  Meanwhile, our loaded tater tot appetizer was very good, not exactly healthy but I would recommend it to anyone looking for a similar alternative to chili cheese fries!

Our food came out quickly and the service was very friendly so it was a pleasant experience as far as dining goes.

  8. I came here with a group of friends after a hike and the place wasn't too crowed on a Sunday afternoon. Our waitress came right away and took our drink orders. For food we got wings (buffalo, spicy garlic and pepper & lemon) the pepper & lemon wings were amazing.
Also got the loaded tator tots and fried pickles they were okay.
Overall we had a nice experience and the food was decent.
