Hubba’s

“Pat's Hubba Hubba is open late, and is relatively busy every night of the week, so we never had to worry about walking in at some ungodly hour.”

“This place is the best for college students or anyone really its got a crazy vibe with its narrow place and just stools and dollar bills taped all over the walls.”

“Pat's Hubba Hubba, the great equalizer, the killer of work-outs that brings you back to square one.”

  1. Hubba's Indisputable Facts:

    1. The best chili EVER.

    2. You should get a chili cheese dog wedge. And chili cheese fries.

    3. It burns on the way in, and on the way out. But it's worth it.

    4. Pouring liquor in your hubba water is completely unnecessary. You are already drunk.

    5. If you saw someone vomiting in the back parking lot between 1998 and 2003, it's highly probable that it was me or someone I know. If you came over to ask if I was OK: Thank you for your concern. Sorry about your shoes.

  2. I use to like coming here because there wasn't another place that I knew that had good chilli cheese burgers or hot dogs. But last time I was there it wasn't great. The chilli didn't have much flavor, they barley gave any chilli on the burger and it's just a small area and smelly. Such a downer that Hubba's is going down. If you want some really good chilli food I would recommend going to Texas Chilli in mamaroneck.

  3. Total hole in the wall, very narrow, doesn't look very clean, outdated looking decor with dollars lining the walls. You could easily walk past it and not even realize it's there because that's basically what I did until my friend said wait up I'm going in here.

I'm not a huge fan of chili or hotdogs for that matter in the first place so I'm not going to rave about it. It was edible but as someone that is a good cook I think I could easily do better. Not trying to sound conceited or anything but just honest. The cooks were friendly and the patrons were a little on the loud side.

The locals seem to rave about this place but I guess I just don't get it. If you are a fan of chili dogs you may give it a better rating.
