  1. Used this cafe regularly since I arrived in NYC.
Positives, always find the food excellent, especially home made cakes / biscuits, can actually make a cappuccino!

Negatives, service can be a bit random and sometimes 'lucky dip' as to what you've ordered is what you'll get…but to me that's part of its quirky and warm charm…

Moved nearer TriBeCa so won't use as often but if passing will always pop in.

  2. I only noticed this place on my walk to work a few days ago, and I guess my question of "is this new" was answered when I couldn't check-in on Yelp because they didn't exist.

Odd to say in the West Village, but this is exactly what the area needs. A nice, quaint, cafe with friendly staff and delicious food. I can now officially vouch for the Eggplant Parm panini and the vegan white bean and kale soup. As this place is two minutes from my office, I expect to be a regular right quick.

  3. Oh, this chunky nug of a blueberry scone was delicious. Mmm mmm. Go get yourself one. The croissants aren't as flaky/buttery as Bees Knee's though.

  4. So I'm walking to my fav brit shop Myers of Keswick and notice this place. Seems like a good spot for a people watch so grab a large latte extra shot and a danish.

6.50 plus tax for a latte ..are you mental …its not even Cartier or served in a real cup.

Come on people if you are proclaiming to be a cafe  with tables then give me some china .

The cheese and blueberry Danish was the ultimate waste of calories. Tasteless.

5* for outdoor seating out front and back
    2* for price and quality.

Back to le grainne for me…..

  5. Cute café with great service.  My meal was limited to a apricot scone, it was delicious.  I will definitely visit again the next time I am in that area.  I will update my review accordingly.
