Like I mentioned before, they allowed smaller dogs to be carried inside of the market.
I went to Hudson Market earlier today, to get a Cortado, and an employee YELLED at me for having a dog.
She wouldn't even let me pay for my coffee, and ushered me out of the market.
I left the market without my Cortado.
End of story.
PS I understand that dogs are not usually allowed into markets. However, Hudson Market allowed dogs for approximately 2 months since they opened. I also understand that rules change. I get it. But why yell at me?
The long wait is over! Big and rustic Hudson Market flung open its doors today. At first I felt a
Foragers vibe, but no- several things set it apart.
There is a meal of one meat-two sides -$11
I went with turkey, grits and grilled asparagus. Yummy healthy style grits, tasty turkey- skin was super!
Another distinction is the separate eating area- this is great!
A big beautiful kitchen cooks the cuisine.
Breakfast looked promising with Davidovich bagels.
Then I saw the pastries- no signs saying Balthazar's and the current array look generic, otherwise I look forward to many meals & Hudson Market being nearby in Chelsea! Hopefully breakfast pastries get an upgrade-:)
