  1. I really dont know how this place gets bad reviews. Tonight was my 5th time there and me and my coworkers had an amazing time. The guacamole was so good. The drinks were very strong. There was 5 of us so we got a table upstairs where they play spanish music. Our waitress (didnt get her name..i was a little drunk lol) was awesome. We are planning another after work gathering for next month. Love it!

  2. I came here with a couple of coworkers for happy hour! Their drinks are strong but they are tasty! We all just got fries because we weren't that hungry.

We got the Steak Fries and Avocado Fries – both were regular but portions were a bit small for the price. On the other end, they do give you complimentary tortilla chips and salsa which is good!

The main reason for the 3 stars was the service. The employees behind the bar were super unattentive and gave off a really rude attitude. It took me 15 minutes to get my check because he forgot it (mind you, the bar wasn't even that busy). Overall, I don't think I'll come back.

  3. Descent Mexican food, but nothing to write home about. Reasonably good margarita.  It's nice and quiet on a Sunday afternoon.  We did the guacamole at the table which was nice and fresh.  A good choice if you are in the area.

  4. Had an awesome time with a couple of my friends on Saturday night! Went in around 5:30pm so no wait. However, the entire restaurant got packed within an hour. For that reason service got a little slow towards 6:30-7pm but overall, loved it.

Passion fruit margarita pitcher, nachos, table side guac and quesadillas were delicious. They also did everything vegetarian for us which was great. Only complaint was they didn't have happy hour deals at all.

Desserts were even better! We ordered fried ice cream, chocolate mousse, tres Leches and brownies and we ate every last bite. Also got serenaded by live musicians!

  5. This review is strictly for brunch, and I was seriously so thrilled with my experience!  I'm almost afraid to give away this hidden gem of a brunch spot, because I want it to be as easily accessible as last time. 😉

The 5 stars is mostly for the staff.  I made a reservation on OpenTable, and the rest of my party was running about 5-10 minutes late.  Typically, a restaurant's staff will give you a lot of sass for this, but everyone at Iguana was unbelievably kind – offering me water and a menu while I waited & very polite small talk.  The inside of the restaurant is GORGEOUS but, when my friends arrived, we decided to sit outside.  Although the ground was a little uneven, it was only noticeable when you shifted weight in your chair.

A brunch entree for $12.95 grants you a complimentary champagne or mimosa.  After that, a glass is $10.  Complimentary chips and salsa are brought to the table.  The salsa is a tiny bit watery, but still flavorful.

I had the cinnamon french toast and ordered a side of egg whites.  When the eggs arrived, I used the rest of the salsa & that was a great decision.  The plate of french toast was HUGE & delicious; topped with more fruit than the "orange glaze" as the menu suggested.  Nom, nom, nom!

Both of my friends ordered the huevos rancheros & thoroughly enjoyed their choices as well.

    Will definitely be back!!

  6. Had such a great time with my group of friends, definitely loved not having to pay a cover after going out to Boston clubs and paying $15-$20 covers. The music was great, but while they played a variety of music just know that each set lasts over 8+ min. The dance floor was spacious enough to really get my salsa moves down and would've stayed here until the sunrise if it wasn't for my friends wanting to check out another club.
Whenever I'm in the area and want to get my Latin dancing on, I will definitely come back here!

  7. My girls and I found this place to be pretty solid. The margaritas are strong and plentiful and the nachos are delish. There are three levels, the first level is the restaurant, the basement level is a hip hop dance club and the upper level is a latin dance club. It's a really fun place to let loose and get your salsa and bachata on.

  8. Not so great. Grilled chicken sandwich with fries just ok. Atomsphere is lively, drinks just ok. Pre mixed mostly. Probably won't bother for a trip back. Forgettable
